You held tightly onto Namjoon's waist as he drove through the city on his motorcycle, heading towards your destination. He'd invited you to ride around Seoul and go for a walk together afterward. Naturally, you agreed, as you loved spending time with him any chance you got. His purple hair blew violently in the wind, a mix of pleasant aromas from food stands and small eateries filled your nostrils, making your mouth start to water despite having eaten breakfast. The air was warm, brushing your cheeks and blowing through your locks as you did some sightseeing, gazing up at the towering buildings scattered throughout the city and lining the streets.
Namjoon's motorcycle slowed to a stop and pulled over into a small parking lot beside a wooded area with a trail. "This is one of my favorite places to walk whenever I need to clear my head." He mentioned, parking the motorcycle, letting you get off first before he followed. "You know, for a big 5'11 biker guy with purple hair, piercings, and tattoos, you sure are a softie." You nudged him playfully as you began your walk. He grinned, showing off his charming set of dimples, one of your favorite things about him. "I'm only a softie for you, sweet thing." He insisted, sliding his large hand into your smaller one.
You two had been friends for a couple years, but for the past four or five months he had been acting differently, bolder, holding your hand, calling you pet names like sweet thing and babe. He hadn't officially confessed and neither had you, leaving you both stuck in a complicated place between friends and something more.
You walked hand in hand down the wide trail, admiring the various blossoms and wildflowers lining the walkway and speckling the landscape in spots of color. "You picked a good day to go out." You commented. "The weather is perfect." "What can I say? I have a connection with nature." He smirked. "At this point, I wouldn't be surprised."
As the both of you walked past trees and down the pathway, you caught sight of the shore in the distance, your eyes widening as you feet moved faster in excitement. Following the trail, you and Namjoon came to a stop when you arrived at the spot where you could get a clear view of the beach, leaning against the railing that lined the walkway. The glistening waters reflected the sun's bright rays, shimmering as the winds moved the waves, creating a glimmering effect that was mesmerizing to the human eye. Your lashes fluttered closed, letting the soft breeze blow past your cheeks, caressing them gently. "It's so pretty." Namjoon commented. "Like I said, perfect weather." You agreed, opening your eyes. "You think we could visit the beach?" "Whatever you want." He smiled softly, you mirroring his expression.
After admiring the scenery a little longer, you proceeded down the path, following it back to the entrance where you started. "You still wanna go to the beach?" Namjoon asked getting on his motorcycle. "Yes I do." "Alright. I'll stop by my place and get some swim trunks, then we can go by your place." "That's poor planning, Joon." You chastised playfully. "If you took me to a walking trail that led to the beach, you should've known I'd want to go." He rolled his eyes, the smirk on his face showing a different emotion completely. "Alright, alright. It was poor planning. Now do you wanna stop by our places and get swimsuits or not?" "Yes." You chuckled, hopping on the bike behind him.
