The roaring sound of your motorcycle rang out as you drove down the street on your way to your friend, Jimin's, house. It was a habit of yours to show up at his place before he went to school. Your bike rolled to a stop right in front of his place just as he was walking out the door.
You were right on time.

He hurried out the door, smoothing the fabric of his black turtleneck and pulling his jacket tighter around his slim body. Jimin always had an eye for fashion and dressed exceptionally well for a student.

"Morning, handsome." You greeted, making your presence known.
He startled at the sound of your voice and whirled around to look in your direction. "Y/n!"
"Hello." You grinned, waving with your fingers.
"I'm gonna be late for school." He dismissed, walking past you without sparing another glance your way.
"I can give you ride, y'know." You pat the side of your motorcycle.
"No thanks." He responded, not missing a beat as he continued walking down the street.
"Hey!" You called out and chased after him, your boots thumping against the concrete as you jogged to his side. "Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed." You teased.
"Cut it out."
"Okay, okay." You held your hands up placatingly.

He glanced over his shoulder down the street where your motorcycle sat idly on the side of the road.
"You left your bike." He commented.
"It'll be fine." You waved dismissively. "I gotta walk my pal to school."
"You're such a nuisance." He sighed.
"I'm not a nuisance, I'm a friend." You corrected, trying to make a joke.
It seemed to hit with Jimin as he held back a laugh, acting as if he wasn't effected by your attempted humor.
"Pretend all you want, but I know you find me funny."
He rolled his eyes.

Your's and Jimin's friendship was unorthodox. He was sweet and gentle while you were on the tougher side. You often harassed him with teasing quips and light nudges. You were blunt with your words and didn't normally show your softer side—that was for a select few. A very select few.
