Chapter 6 HEAT

Ace's POV

"So... Naomi?"
"Mhmm what is it?" She said starring off at the front of the ship as we were sailing.

"How did you get your ship stolen anyways?"
I ask curious to how she got her ship stolen.

She turns around to face me and scratches the back of her neck.

"Well you see, my ship isn't that big but it isn't small either..."

"So?..."

"I paid 12.000.000.000 for it."

My eyes literally popped out of my sockets.
"Why would you pay THAT MUCH FOR A SHIP?!"

She looked away and puffed her cheeks.
"Well it was a nice ship and I had the money for it, so why not?"

"Naomi..."
She turned to face me and I grabbed and shook her shoulders.

"Oh my god! Are you rich?"

She shook my hands off her shoulder and turned around to face the ocean.

About 30 seconds later she turned back at me.

"Well I think it's time to turn in."
She said while walking towards the inside of the ship.

I can't believe it. She ignored my question!

"Woah wait a minute Naomi!" I say while turning around to face her, but she had already went inside.

A few seconds later and Marco gets pushed out the door.
He rubs the back of his head because she slammed the door right after and caused it to hit his head.

Marco then sees me and walks towards me.
"I guess were sleeping out here tonight." He chuckles.

The next morning~

I wake up to the smell of bacon being cooked but It's too early to get up and I was even more tired then usually because I was sleeping on the floor.
I eventually got up and made my way towards the small kitchen.
To my surprise, I see Naomi cooking.
I walk towards her and hover over her shoulder.

"It's just bacon eggs and home fries, nothing really special, so sit down." She said sternly, not even giving me a glance.

I made my way towards the table.

What's up her ass.

She walks towards me and hands me a plate and sets another one down.
She then makes her way to the deck.

"Naomi? Your not gonna eat?" I asked

She turns and looks at me before answering.
"I ate earlier. I'm just going to wake Marco up and head to the shower." She said then leaving to go wake him up.

She came back through the doors and went straight to the bathroom.
Marco walked in a second later. He rubbed his eyes and sat down next to me. He looked down at his plate before digging in.

Naomi gets out from the shower and goes straight to bed.
Odd?
"Ace lets go out and enjoy the scenery." Marco suggested."
"Yeah sure, but I'm just gonna thank Naomi for the breakfast." I said to him while he nodded and made his way to the deck.

I walked towards the door to the room where Naomi was. I knocked but didn't hear anything.
I took the privilege and just opened the door.
I could see Naomi look at me as I entered the room. She was laying down on the bed trying to sleep, but it was obvious that she couldn't.

"What do you want Ace!?"

She was irritated and I was ready to leave.

"I came in to thank you for the breakfast. It was really good."
She stared at me then turned around.
I was about to leave until I heard her.
"Wait."
I turn around and see her facing me now.
"Do you have a heating pack?" She asked.
"No sorry. Does your stomach hurt?" I asked her
"No you idiot! I'm .. on.."
"Ohhhhh."
I than thought for awhile. She must be in pain then.
"Do you want me to sleep next to you?" I asked because I could be used as a heater I guess.
"WHAT NO!" She shouted and threw a pillow at my face.
I see her face grow a light shade of pink and realized she was blushing.
"WOAH Thats not what I meant at all." I say waving my hands as I realized what I just said.

"You see. I ate a devil fruit called the Mera Mera no Mi fruit and it gives me the ability to turn my self into fire and such and I was just thinking that since we have no heat pack and you must be in pain, I could be your heat pack." I say while looking away and trying not to blush.

"Ohh. Since you have no heating pack then I have no other choice. BUT IM ONLY SAYING THIS ONCE. If You touch me in places I did not say you could, I'm going to kick your ass!"

After she said that we look at each other and blush.
"Well come here!" She demanded me and looked away.
I made my way towards the bed and laid next to her. She grabbed arm and put it around her waist to her lower abdomen.
I couldn't help but feel so nervous.
I began heating myself up.
"Thank you." I heard her mumble.
I smiled.

A few moments later. Heard the door open and so did Naomi. We look to see Marco standing in front of the door way.
His mouth is wide open and his eyes are popping out.
I just realized the position Naomi and I are both in.

"ITS NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE!" We both yell at the same time.
