The next day was a lovely Sunday. You spent it at home, going through the motions in a dreamy state. The final moments of your night before were replaying your mind, leaving a rosy tint on your cheeks and a bashful smile on your face.
Your mother noticed the change in your demeanor and didn't hesitate to tease you. You didn't mind, of course.
"Did you take a few drinks last night?" She asked, smiling. You just shook your head, knowing that she didn't really believe you would do such a thing.
She laughed at your response and ruffled your hair before leaving to go about her day.
The hours came and went and before you knew it, the sun was setting again. You had dinner and went up to your room, where you began to read a book for your english class.
The curtains were open so the evening light could set the scene. You cracked open the book and smiled as your eyes fell upon the familiar words.
O Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo?
Just as you read it, there was a small pop from the other side of the room. Your head flicked towards the sound, peering out the window to see nothing but the darkening sky over the neighborhood.
Huh.
You settled back down and just as you began to focus on it again, there was another sound. This time you jumped up and ran to the window, pushing up the glass as looking down.
On the ground below you was a familiar flash of light hair. You watched Namjoon throw another pebble up at you, grinning ear to ear. In his other hand was a single rose and a sign that you could barely make out in the fading light.
It was covered in his drawings, and splayed with color. It had a single word written on it, but it filled your entire being with excitement.
"Prom?"
This was almost a fairytale in your eyes. It was perfect; He was perfect.
There was just one thing on your mind, but he calmed your fears before you could even voice them.
"Yoongi is okay with it, the rose is actually from him. He says it's both his apology and his blessing."
You couldn't stop the wide smile from dancing across your face.
You held up a finger as if to say 'one minute' and then you closed the window and ran downstairs. You flew outside and into his arms, laughing happily.
"So that's a yes?" He asked, chuckling and settling his arms around your waist. You peppered his cheek with kisses, giggling as you did so.
"Yes, yes of course!"
Who's excited for the comeback?
I honestly cannot wait.
Btw me and LivingReverie are running an awards ceremony so I'll put the link to that at the bottom of this chapter. The registration is open until May 6th, 2019.It's been really crazy lately. I know I'm always apologizing for late chapters, but I'm really sorry. I'm single now, I got new job, lots of stuff.
Hope you all are doing well!
