Chapter One: The Letter

Italy's POV

I was alone once more, crying and sitting by myself. I wimpered and continued crying like the big baby I am while laying down in a Wooden Box in the middle of no where. How I got in the box? Well It was simple, I had no where to go. Romano was still living with Spain, Mister Austria and Miss Hungary recently got married, and I was already old enough to live by myself. I was a full grown adult country for God's Sake, but I lied and told them I had a place to spend the night for a while. The truth was I was in a forest, inside a tomato box... and somehow got stuck in the box and couldn't get out... I just stayed there crying while holding my white flag. I didn't know if I was crying because I was alone and felt pathetic, or because I remembered him... Out of all the time, Holy Roman Empire just wandered into my thoughts again and made me cry louder. I stopped when I heard a noise, someone was coming closer! I quickly wiped my tears and gulped as I held a tight grip on my flag. I heard someone mumble something in a different language, German? I tried to not shake as I heard his footsteps come closer. I came into panic and needed to do something to make the stranger go away.
"Ve~ Hello! I am the Tomato Box Fairy!" I quickly say and Facepalmed myself noticing what a stupid excuse I have made.
I shook my head and continue, "No!~ There's no one in here! Don't open the box!" But It was too late and I panicked and started ranting about being a liar and not wanting to die. But I stopped when I saw him... he looked surprised and he also looked so alike... like if he was the same person. I quickly shook that thought from my head.
I smiled and continued Talking nonsense. Not knowing that later, I would become his Friend.

I looked around to see what I was missing at the world meeting while remembering that day. It was the same usual things, England and France almost killing eachother, America claiming to be the hero, a random guy that looks like America with a polar bear, and Russia koling while stalking China. I sighed and wonder why they did they started fighting again when the war and alliances were over now. I didn't like it when they fought and I certainly did not want to be part of it, which is why I carry my white flags so we can make peace and be happy together! I smiled and started waving my flags at everyone but then Germany started shouting again and made everyone sit down. Good thing Germany is around, he always knows what to do!

I looked up at the clock to see that the meeting has ended... Three Hours ago... But I didn't mind, as long as my Friends were here and I wasn't alone!

But then that's when America and England got into another argument. I tried to zone it out until I heard England say something. "Why are we still here?! The war is already over so we don't need to be in a bloody alliance anymore!"

Everyone became silent until China stood up. "I agree. I have more important things in my own country that I need to handle. Aru~" I looked at everyone as they started agreeing for once and then America finally decided that the alliance is finally over and we can go our own ways. I frowned while hearing this, did this mean we didn't have to be The Axis anymore and split up? I looked at Germany and Japan who were both at my sides, both with unreadable expressions. I slightly tugged Germany's sleeve and he looked at me. "Doitsu, does this mean we won't be together anymore?..." I asked scared and Japan turned to look at me too. Germany sigh before responding, "Ja Italy, we don't need to be the axis anymore. Our alliance is over." I looked down sad, I couldn't tell if Germany was upset about this as much as I was. But then I smiled and remembered that promise Germany made with me when I thought he didn't like me anymore. I looked at him and out of no where hugged him. I look at his face to see a surprised and confused expression and I noticed a small shade of pink forming on his cheeks. "But we can still be friends, right!" I smiled, still not letting go of him as he started hugging back and patted my head. "Ja... friends..." He seemed nervous and I let him go, barely noticing that I was blushing as well. Wait, why why I blushing?... "Everybody is reaving arready. We shourd go too." Japan quietly said.

We were about to leave when suddenly, they all came back with confused expressions.

"Dudes! Have anybody else gotten a weird letter like this one?" America said as he showed us a letter with an odd stamp and a small symbol of the earth. England and France and the guy with the polar bear had one. Spain had his and Romano's since fratello was too lazy to go check for the mail. Russia and China also had them. And then Germany took out three of them, which was probably his, Japan's and Mine. It was weird, it has our names on it but doesn't say who sends it. We decided to open it and were surprised by what was written.
