Nothing could've prepared me for the events that happened today. It started out so well, how could I have known? It was the storm after all. Everything was going too well, I knew something bad would eventually happen but I never knew it would all happen at once.

Here I am crying in my son's bedroom, arms wrapped around my legs as I hold them against my chest. Noah fast asleep in my bedroom, Josh, Cory and my mother arguing downstairs about what they should do with me.

Let's go back to this morning.

"Come on" Josh insists trying to usher me out of the house, his hand on the small of my back as he tries to push me towards the front door, "Calm down babe" I giggle turning around to escape his grasp. "I know you're excited but you're forgetting the diaper bag" I remind him making him groan and turn around, rushing towards the living room to retrieve the bag.

I shake my head looking at him amused, "Daddy is crazy huh?" I question looking at Noah in my arm as I fix his little hat. Ever since Andrew told him about his cousin wanting to sell a car he's been all excited about it, apparently it's a really good deal and a really good car. I was thrilled about the news but I know nothing about cars so I'm mostly relying on Josh.

"Okay. Now can we go?" He asks stopping in front of me "We've got everything?" I nod and smile. "Yes let's go before you explode" I chuckle and he grins as we finally leave the apartment and head down to Amy's car.

"How far is his house?" I ask curiously as I open the passenger door of Amy's dark blue, Audi RS3. "About 20 minutes" Josh answers placing Noah's diaper bag on the other side whilst I place Noah in his car seat and strap him in. Although Noah isn't exactly a fan of being in his car seat and staying behind on his own so he starts crying.

"Oh come on Pumpkin" I coo caressing his cheek, "You're gonna have to get used to sitting back here" I sigh debating if I should just sit beside him or get an earful of him crying for 30 minutes. "I don't get why he doesn't like it" Josh says slightly confused as he climbs into the cars and starts the engine. I settle in the back next to Noah and let him hold onto my fingers as he sucks on his binky slowly calming down.

"He doesn't like being alone" I explain simply, "Plus he doesn't seem to like staying strapped in his seat" I add pursing my lips together as I gaze at Noah falling asleep. "Do you think its because we're given him too much attention?" My eyes widen "What?!" I ask taken aback, snapping my gaze to Josh. "I don't know was just asking" he shrugs "I mean he is with us 24/7" he adds making my brows knot.

"Not really" I argue "What about when I go to school and you go to work?" I ask "And since when have we been giving him too much attention?" He sighs and shakes his head. "I never said we give him too much attention, I mean do you think he maybe is too attached to us?" He questions making me sigh. I glance back at our son who's still holding onto my hand and bite my lip.

"Maybe" I admit with a sad smile. "It might be his personality, he's a cuddly baby and you that, he loves being with someone. I don't think it has to do with us giving him affection" he nods "Perhaps" he agrees. "How about when we go back home you sit in the front?" He suggests "He's gonna have to learn to be in his car seat anyways" I nod. "Okay" I concede.

The rest of the drive Josh and I talk more about Noah, mostly about his obsessions like his foot and water. One thing I love about seeing him grow, is that I get to see his personality change every months. I get to learn more about the little blessing I brought into world and admittedly, it is one of the greatest things you can experience. Once were a few minutes away from our destination Noah starts getting hungry, making him get a little fussy. "You'll eat as soon as we get there" I assure him "Mama can't take you out of your seat, it's too dangerous" I explain in my baby voice as I try and make him smile. "So you're gonna have to wait" I add sticking my tongue out to make a silly face.
