I was laying in bed in the dark, eyes wide open. I wasn't that tired but it was already 12:54am and I really needed to get some sleep.
A notification went off on my phone as it vibrated while lighting up the room a bit.
Who would even text me at this hour?
I turned to my nightstand and reached for my phone with a sigh, trying to see who the message was from.
I groaned, quickly closing my eyes again, "Why is the brightness so damn high." I mumble while squinting at the screen, adjusting the brightness to read the message.
