Y/n's POV

I stood between the bomb and the wall which kept Uraraka at bay.
Uraraka hesitated, looking around.
There was nothing in the room she could use her quirk on.

If I can just keep her there until time runs out, we'll win. I thought, grinning.

Suddenly, the floor started shaking.

What the hell?! I struggled keeping my balance as the building shook more violently.
What are they doing?!

The wall I created fell down.

The barrier around the bomb shattered.

Shit.

"Bakugo, what the hell was that?!" I shouted into my ear piece. "What did you do?!"

I remembered he turned off his ear piece.

God damn it.

The sound of quick footsteps filled the room. I turned around quickly, seeing Uraraka running towards me.

If she touches the bomb, she wins.

"I won't let you win!" I shouted, changing my stance.
My legs were spread for me to keep my ground as I created disks of water and fired them at her.
Her fingertips all touched as her body lifted into the air, dodging them.

She can make herself float, too?! I frowned, wide-eyed.

She was a few feet away from the bomb.

"Release!" She shouted, spreading her arms wide to embrace the bomb

Think, Y/n. I panicked. Think.

I bended water around her foot and dragged her to the ground, freezing her there.

Safe. I thought.

"There's only a few minutes left. I'm not letting you win." I said assertively.

Bakugo's trying his hardest. It's only fair that I try, too.

I heard a noise on Uraraka's earpiece.

She shattered the ice and ran towards the window. I heard yelling coming from under us.

"Okay!" She shouted, grabbing a pole.

What's she doing?! I panicked.

Air blasted up from below us and through the ceiling. Rubble filled the air.
Uraraka used her quirk on a broken pillar, throwing it at me.
The pillar crashed into me, sending me flying across the room. It fell on top of me, crushing me into the floor.

Uraraka landed ontop of the bomb.

"Retrieved!" She shouted, grinning.

Everything started fading.

"The Heroes win!" All Might shouted over the intercom.

The world went completely black as my head hit the ground.

~~~~~~~~~~
I slowly opened my eyes, my head throbbing.
I was laying down.
"You're awake. That's good, dearie." A small voice said.
I turned my head towards it, seeing a small women in a chair.
Recovery Girl.
"How do you feel?"
"..."
I went to talk, but couldn't. I pointed to my throat.
"Ah, right. Overused your quirk, did you?" She smiled sadly, handing me a bottle of water.
I chugged it, gasping for air once the enslaved moisture was fully consumed.
"Th-ank yo-u." I said between gasps, then looked around the room expectantly.
The women raised an eyebrow.
"Are you looking for Bakugo, Y/n?" She questioned.
I froze. She looked at me apologetically.
"Sorry, sweetie. He's not here. You should head back to class if you're feeling well. Would you like to change into your school attire?" She asked, tapping her watch and gesturing to a neatly folded pile of clothes.
I nodded my head, standing up and grabbing the pile.
"Thank you." I said to her after changing, walking out of the nurses office. The door closed quietly behind me.
Why did I look around for Bakugo? I asked myself, confused. I shook it off, starting to jog back to class.
Soon enough, I arrived back at the classroom door.
I gulped, slowly opening the door and walking in quietly.
The chatter that was in the classroom died down as nearly everyone looked at me.
"Hey, Y/n's back!" A spikey red head said, grinning. His pointy teeth were exposed in his grin.
"Um, hello..." I mumbled, heading back to my seat. I sat down awkwardly.
A crowd of people formed by my desk. A yellow haired boy with a black streak in his hair was closest to me, a few inches away.
"Y/n, your quirk is so cool!" He smiled, a light blush on his face.
Shit, what was his name?
"Oh- Uh- Thanks, Calamari." I said.
He froze. Laughter erupted from the room while he sat down sadly, sinking into his chair.
Suddenly, the door slammed open. An angry ash blonde stood there, his face deformed from anger.
"Oi, Water Witch, why the fuck weren't you in the nurses?! I walked all the fucking way there!" He snarled, storming over to my desk.
"Uh-" I froze, confused. "Why'd you go to the nurses?" I asked.
Apart from me and Recovery Girl, the room was empty.
"Kacchan, did you go to check on Y/n?" Midoriya asked, equally confused as me.
"What? No. She fuckin wishes." He barked, sitting with his feet on the desk.
But...you avoided my question?
