Y/n's POV

Bakugo's match was over in what seemed like a mere few minutes.

Uraraka...

I watched as the poor girl was carried out on a stretcher.

"Uraraka's out of commision." Midnight said. "Bakugo advances to the second round!"

The boy made his way out of the arena and up to the stand.

"The first round is now ever. We'll move onto the next round after a short intermission!" Present Mic shouted.

"Even if it were just because of the match-up, you played an amazing villain, Bakugo." I heard Tsu say.

"Shut up! Be Quiet!" The boy shouted.

I quickly looked up, seeing the boy.

"You know, 'shut up' and 'be quiet' generally mean the same thing, Bakugo." I said, smirking.

"Tch. Whatever." He grumbled, sitting down next to me.

But still...

I smiled softly, looking down at the ground as I recalled Bakugo's match.

When he saw Uraraka was down, he quit attacking and instead took a defensive formation. A villain wouldn't have stopped attacking. A villain would have-

"Oi, Water Witch." I heard Bakugo say.

"E-eh?!" I shouted as he grabbed me by my wrist.

"Let's go." He muttered, jerking me up and dragging me behind him.

Once we were inside and away from the crowd, he stopped walking.

"B-Bakugo?" I stuttered, confused. "What are you-"

That's when I finally realized.

I reached my hand up to my face, feeling the liquid escaping from my eyes and rolling down my face. I bended the tears into my palm.

I'm...crying....

Bakugo stayed with his back turned to me.

"I'm not letting you back out there until you're done." He said.

A smile formed on my lips.

He was... making sure no one else saw me cry?

I slowly and quietly walked up behind the boy, wrapping my arms around his waist, my forehead resting on his back.
I felt him tense up, yet he stayed unmoving, not uttering a word. I felt more tears forming in my eyes as I muttered my next words.

"Thank you, Bakugo."
