Chapter 20

Y/n's POV

Present Mic loudly anounced the first event would be an obstacle race.

As it started, I saw several of the zero point robots from the entrance exam.

I felt myself get cold.
I started shivering.

Ice had formed, completely covering a robot.

Holy shit, Todoroki. I thought, astonished.

As he ran under, the robot collapsed. I frowned.

Asshole.

I started looking around for a way through.

I watched Bakugo blast himself over the top.

"Oh, fuck no." I mumbled.

I'm not losing to him.

I looked at Todoroki's ice.

Maybe I can... change it.

I looked at his ice٫ then grinned as I slowly turned it to water.

I bended it around me and managed to lift myself over the robot.

Once I was over, I started running.

I kept running until I was at the next obstacle in the race.

"If you fall, you're out." I whispered to myself.

The obstacle infront of me looked like a canyon. Parts of it were connected by ropes.

Bakugo was blasting himself over this obstacle just like he did the last. Todoroki easily glided over the rope with his ice.

I frowned.

They're in first place? That is not gonna work for me.

I gathered water and made a bridge like structure for me to cross. I froze it and ran across.

Other students began crossing it with speed.

I unfroze it and laughed as they fell.

As I started making my way further through the obstacle, I felt myself getting thirsty.

Not now٫ damn it.

Having to keep making bridges began to quickly drain my energy.
I shook away my headache, charging forward.
I could see Todoroki ahead of me. He was just standing there.

Why'd he stop...?
