A few minutes later, four cops appeared up and they got out of their cars. One of them walked towards Jaylynn and got beside her. He touched both sides of her throat and there was a pulse.
Cop #1: Jaylynn, Jaylynn, some woman called, Naomi, is he still in there, armed, dangerous?
Jaylynn: He's dead.
She started crying. He held onto her and the other cops went inside the house.
Cop #1: I'd like to say that you're one of the lucky ones, come on, let's get you to the hospital.
He picked her up. He carried her to his car and laid her down in the backseat. He put some cover on her and they left the house. After getting patched up at the hospital, she escaped.
