Jalena's POV:

I woke up at 6:30 am and looked outside. I gasped. It was snowing! I haven't seen snow in quite some time. Yes, I live in a snow-zone area, but there hasn't been any snow for almost four years.

I ran outside and giggled, as I danced under the snowflakes.

I had my black, long-sleeve pajama top, red shorts with white snowflakes, and black UGG boots.

It was so beautiful! Somebody came out of the house across. I ignored him and continued on dancing.

It was probably weird seeing an adult dancing in snow, but I am a child at heart sometimes.

I slipped but somebody caught me. I gasped and looked at the person.

–Daniel! –I gasped, flushing.

–Hi, Jalena.-He smiled back. I blushed even harder.

–What are you doing here?-I asked.

–My childhood friend lives across your house, so I came to visit her.-He shrugged, helping me stand up straight.

–Who? Isabella?-I asked. He nodded.

–Yeah, we used to be really close friends. - He smiled.

–That's nice.-I said, smiling. A pang of jealousy hit me. What? No, I'm not jealous! I can't be! I just met him!

-How is she?-I asked.

–Pretty good, thank you. She was happy to see me.-He said. I nodded.

–Aren't you cold?-He asked.

I looked down. Thank God, I shaved my legs the day before! And thank God, I fell asleep in a bra! Oh, dear, this is awkward!

-I'm fine, thanks. –I shrugged.

–Get inside, you'll freeze or worse, get sick.-He said, pushing me lightly towards my house.

–Don't tell me what to do!-I said. He smiled gently.

–We have a date today, remember? I don't want you to get sick.-He said. I rolled my eyes. I hate it when people make do something.

–I'll live.-I said. He shook his head.

–Drama queen.-He mumbled.

–I heard that.-I said coldly. He grinned.

–So your ears are still fine. I thought you didn't hear me.-He teased. I tried to hide my smile. How is it that he makes me irritated at one moment and giddy at the other? I just rolled my eyes.

–So, when are you planning to come home?-I asked. –To your parents' home, I mean.-I said.
