Not a happy ending
"I didn't do it, Baby took the crayons!"
"Well you shouldn't have given them to her." A smack. "And she's not Baby, she's Gabriella, stupid girl!"
"Baby! Baby!"
"Listen to what Daddy says!"
"He's not Daddy, he's Tony, you're silly partner. Why can't I have Daddy instead of Tony?"
"Don't upset your mother!"
"She upset me by marrying you!"
Another smack. And a few worse things.

"Her Daddy doesn't like her!"
"He's not my Daddy, he's Tony, and I hate him!"
"I can see why her Daddy doesn't like her! She's too weird!"
"He's not my Daddy! He's Tony!"
"Weirdo!" A fight. Crying. Not from me. "Miss, she started hurting me on puropse!"
"She started siding with Tony! He's horrible!"
"Children please!"
A phonecall home. Not a happy ending.

"I hate you Tony!"
"Don't say that, Tony's already under so much stress!"
"Shut up both of you! You're both so irritating! I don't know how her father could stand you!" Some more fighting. Mum crying. Tony packing. "I'm out of here. Gabriella's your own business now."
"No, Tony, wait!"
"I'm not waiting for anyone!"
"Do you see what you've done?"
"Yes! I wanted Tony to go away, and he has. Couldn't he have taken Baby with him?"
"You horrible child!"
More crying. Both of us. Our relationship broken forever.
