Thanksgiving Day

I sat down in my bedroom with my Mac and clicked the FaceTime app to call my family.
"Hey Jazzy!"My mom answered
"Hey mom.Where is everyone?"I asked
"They're all around somewhere."She said
"Come here!Jasmine's on the phone!"She yelled
I watched as everyone crowded around her phone.My dad,Jordan,Khalil,the boys and Travis was there too.
"Hey Jazzy."Trav said
"Hey Trav."I smiled
"How you doing out there?"Daddy asked.
"Im doing good."I nodded
Later I FaceTimed Travis alone.
"You look great Jas."He said
"Thanks.I feel great."I smiled
"When are you coming back again?"He asked
"About three weeks.The eighteenth."I said
"So you'll be home for Christmas?"He asked
"Yeah.Will you be?"I asked
"I will."He smiled
"Good.I miss you."I said
"Hey Jas?"I heard my door open
It was Tre.
"Hey."I said
"Dinner's ready."He said
"Okay thanks.I'll be out in a few."I said
"Alright."He nodded and left.
"Who's that?"Travis raised an eyebrow.
"My friend Tre."I said
"Friend or friend?"He asked
I giggled."I don't know.."
He smiled at me."Damn I miss you."
"I miss you too Trav."I said
"You seem so happy.Im proud of you."He said
"Thanks.I am very happy."I said
"Have you spoken to Aubrey?"He asked
"No..I don't plan on it any time soon."I said
He nodded."Okay."
"Im gonna go.I have to go eat.Maybe I'll talk to you next week."I said
"Alright Jas.I love you."He said
"I love you too."I hung up
I got up and headed to the dining room.Tre had saved a seat next to him.
We all joined hands and Chris started the prayer.
"Dear god, thank you for the food we are about to receive.May you bless the hands who made it and may it nourish our bodies.Amen."
"Amen."We followed.
Tre rested his hand on my thigh.
"You alright?"He whispered
I nodded."Yeah.You okay?"
