I picked Sophia's backpack up and threw it over my shoulder.
"Uhm..I have to tell you.Soph's gonna be a big sister."I told Jennifer
"Excuse me?"She asked
"The woman Im dating- she's pregnant."I told her
"Are you kidding me Chris?You filed for divorce like a week ago!What the hell."She argued
"Oh don't come at me with the self righteous shit.None of this would be happening if you weren't fucking Dave!"I responded
She sighed."Look, Im sorry about that."
"Just- Sophia!Honey come on!"I called
I heard her footsteps get louder.
"Hey daddy!"She ran to me

As I drove home, I told her about Jasmine.
"So, I have something to tell you Soph."I said
"Okay."She giggled
"You are going to be a big sister.Remember I told you about my girlfriend Jasmine?"I asked
She nodded."Mhm."
"She's having a baby."I told her
"Okay cool."She nodded
"Is that okay with you?"I asked her
"Yeah.I wanted a sister."She said
I chuckled."Good to know."
When we got home, Jasmine was making dinner for us.
"Soph.This is Jasmine,baby, this is Sophia."I said and kissed her cheek
"Oh my gosh.Hi Sophia.I'ver heard so much about you."Jasmine bent down to her level
"You have my baby sister?"She asked her
Jas chuckled."Well we don't know if it's a girl but yes."
"I like your socks."She complimented
"Thank you!I like your shirt."Jas replied
I smiled at them.
"You can call me Jasmine, Jas, Jazzy.Whatever you like."Jas shrugged
Later that night, we got ready for bed.
"Have you talked to your family?"I asked her as she rubbed lotion over her nude body
"No..."She said lowly
"Babe-
"I know..I just don't want to ruin our happiness right now."She said
