The ride back to the hotel with Aubrey was pretty quiet.He was really upset.I am too but I don't want to come between their friendship at all.
"Aub."I said
He looked over at me.
"Can you promise me you two will work it out?"I asked
"He disrespected you."He said
"I don't care.You're best friends.Work it out."I told him
"Fuck him.He's a fuckin' clown."He said
I sighed.
When we got back to the hotel, he went to grab his things from his room to bring to mine.
"Here.I warmed up your food."I said handing him his to go box
"Thank you."He said
"Of course."I said and started to eat as well
I turned on the tv for us too.
"Can I ask you something?"I finally said
"You can."He said
"How often do you get to see Adonis?"I asked
He shrugged."Not often.Only a week out of the month."
I furrowed my brows."Really?"
"Yeah I mean..she still lives in France and has no plans to move closer.Im working on figuring that out."He said
I nodded."Yeah I understand."
"Can I ask you something?"He said
"Mhm."I nodded
"Why don't you believe that I love you?"He said
I was thrown back by the question honestly.
"Um.."I said lowly
"You said that..during an argument a few months ago.That I didn't love you.I loved the idea of you."He said
I brought my eyes to his.
"I think that when we were together things were good..great but I couldn't understand why you wanted me back so badly.We weren't together long.Our relationship was just okay."I told him honestly
"I want to make this clear Jas.I know when I'm in love.I should've showed you that more and told you more.I'll do it everyday.Whatever it takes for you to believe me."He said caressing my chin
"Aub..you know this won't work right?"I asked
"Why's that?"He asked
"I want to get married and have kids Brey.That would tarnish your image.You're supposed to be a bachelor."I told him
"I don't care about my image Jas.I love you."He said
"Do you see yourself being married?Honestly?"I asked
