Today
Fear crawls and cuddles in
Hiding beneath each soul
As the tears drain in
Eyes twinkle in distress
While the smile maintains
Not a shame for these lies
All the hardship in vain
Strength to act through
Cover the prints of each foot
For every step owns a past
Calling danger for youth
Turning future to emptiness
Hold your breath
When you know the clue
An opportunity turns a threat
For this world has lost
It's ancient peace
Though it never lived in ancients
