-shortcake?!-Ryder's POV
I couldn't stop thinking about that Shortcake(whichismynicknameforher).
She wore a leather jacket, has a dead rose tattoo on her neck, long brunette hair, and a sassy attitude.
She's cute, hot and sexy though.
No, no she's not. She's annoying and bitchy.
Why was she on my mind?
She wasn't even my type.
My type was the blonde hair, underdressed, vulnerable, caked with makeup type.
I've only been with someone like her, once. But that's a story for another time.
So, why can't I stop thinking about her?!
I got frustrated and tugged at my hair.
I threw the cigarette on the ground and stomped on it as I walk into the school building.
I walked through the doors of the cafeteria with all eyes on me but I ignored it and walked to where our group was sitting at.
I was greeted by the guys and sat down.
I received a message from my Father and I opened it.
Father: Be home early today. We have guests.
Ryder: I have plans. Can't I skip this one?
Father: No. This is important.
Ryder: Please. This is also important.
I type frustratedly not realising or caring who's at the table.
Father: I said no. And if it's boxing, you have another time for it. This is more important and you need to be here.
I clenched my jaw and left him on read.
"Lili?" Liam said.
Lili?
"Liam?" That angelic- annoying voice that has been on my mind lately said.
How did they know each other?
Actually, why do I care?
What was Lili doing here?
I glanced back on my phone.
Father: Be at home by 5. If you aren't home by then, you are grounded.
Ryder: Fine.
This must be really important because my parents never threaten to ground me.
I snuck glances at Shortcake. She didn't even realise it. I have to admit she's really beautiful without even trying.
She looks badass but there's more to that. And it was weird how she knew Heather and the way she reacted was also weird.
I receive a text message from Heather.
Heather: Baby, meet me at the Art room for some fun👅💦
Ryder: I'm busy.
Lili's phone rings and she glances at it, clenching her jaw. It looked like she muted it because it was still ringing but there was no noise.
I saw her phone light up a couple of times but she ignored it.
She excused herself and grabbed her phone with her.
