About fifteen minutes later after Kelly was supposed to be going to bed he walked into the living room fully dressed with his coat on.
KELLY: Beth, I'm going out for a few hours, CPD want me to help them with an arson investigation, from the fire last night
BETH: From the one you never told me about?
Kelly just looked at Beth
KELLY: Fifteen women died in that fire, we think its a sex trafficking cover up!
BETH: Oh, you'd better go then. I wish I didn't know now
Kelly bent down and kissed her and the girls
KELLY: I'll be as quick as I can, I love you

When Kelly left, Beth started doing laundry. Only to be disturbed by Shaylynn phoning her.
BETH: Hey
SHAYLYNN: Jay has taken all, of my car keys!
BETH: Why?
SHAYLYNN: I think he's after Christian!
BETH: Fuck!
SHAYLYNN: I mentioned the cabin in Freeport to him! Jay told Kelly last night what Christian done to me.
BETH: Oh? Kelly never told me, that's why he's been distant with me!
SHAYLYNN: So, you both know, only Kelly doesn't know you know!
BETH: I'm telling Kelly what happened, this is getting too complicated! I'm much too blonde to keep it together!
SHAYLYNN: Beth! You can't! Not just now, where is he?
BETH: He's away helping the CPD with a arson investigation, the one from last night
SHAYLYNN: The sex trafficking one?
BETH: Yeah. I take it he still doesn't know Mark was shot?
SHAYLYNN: No! Have you been out?
BETH: You told me not to!

BETH: Very funny Shaylynn! Are you okay?

Shaylynn hung up leaving Beth folding Kelly's Squad shirts. A little while later when Beth was playing with the girls in the living room she gave Johnny a call.
JOHNNY: Hey ugly!
BETH: Charming! (laughing)
BETH: Hope I'm not disturbing you?
JOHNNY: No, what can I do you for?
BETH: A Langston motorcycle?
Johnny laughed
JOHNNY: He wants a new toy?
