The room, humid, empty, somewhat soundless. "...Beep...Beep...Beep..." The heart rate monitor sounded, The only sound you were able to hear. My hair was a mess matching my hospital gown and bed sheets.
A nurse sat across the room, she was young she looked as if she could be younger than me. She gave me a dead stare, no emotion was really on her face , but this was her job, i haven't even heard her voice.
A knock, a slight one. "Keith Konner Kogaine, a visitor is here" another nurse had said as she walked in. It must be lance or shiro. "Let them in," i replied.
They walked in the room. A shady kind of figure, i could barely see their face due to the country styled hat. They took of their brown hat and matching trench coat and smiled at me. "Hello, Kassidy." he said. My heart skipped a beat. It cant be him, it cant he died. my head was spinning into circles. "Kass," he stepped closer. My eyes were filled with tears. "N-no, you cant be real." i stuttered. He hugged me, i cried into his shoulder. "I thought you were gone. I thought you left me!" i cried into his shoulder. he rubbed my back letting me know everything was okay.
It was Texas Kogaine.
