Splatoon Agent 7

Chapter 4: The First Encounter

Octo Valley

Agent 3 POV
As I ink my surroundings I found something that seemed a little odd. I inked that spot repeatedly and revealed a kettle

"Alright! You found another kettle 3!" Agent 1 said with a quirky tone

I went in the kettle and looked around my surroundings when I got out, "*mind* Huh? This place looks a lot like Bluefin Depot for some reason." I walked in and saw the zapfish on the opposite side of the place, I inked and swam towards the zapfish.

Just then I was ambushed by a octoling, "This again!?" I said as I splated the octoling "*mind* So it's one of these missions." I sighed and went back inking and swimming in my ink, repeating the same process "Is this easy mode?"(reply if you know this reference is from). As I got closer an octoling appears, but they look different from the rest

Agent 2 exclaimed "Agent 3, watch out, octolings with seaweed on their heads are extra tough!"

"That just makes it more of a challenge for me." I said with excitement

Third - person POV
Agent 3 then threw a bomb at the octoling, the octoling dodged and started shooting at Agent 3

"Shit!" Agent 3 said as she swam away from the Octarian ink, she found a special can and used bomb rush

The octoling retreated from the bomb zone and went hiding in the ink, as Agent 3 came closer, the octoling shot Three, causing her armor to get damaged, the octoling then got close to Three and sweep kicked her, causing her to fall and drop her gun.

The octoling grabbed her neck and pointed their gun at her, "Goodnight, Inkling."

Before they could splat Agent 3, they got snipped hard to the head, causing them to fall and land near the edge of the place. Since Octo Valley was falling apart, the edge they were on started to fall apart and broke.

Agent 3, still conscious, ran and caught the octoling from dying. She then pulled them up and sighed in relief, she looked at the octoling and analyzed them, now realizes something, "A male octoling?" She said as she looked at his uniform. "*mind* He looks so peaceful when unconscious, I wonder what he looks like under the goggles."

Agent 2 yelled at Three "Agent 3! The zapfish!"

She stopped in her tracks and left him sleeping against a wall and captured the zapfish

After a couple of missions, she super jumped back to headquarters and saw Agent 1 and 2 standing there talking to each other.

On the corner of Agent 2 eye she saw Agent Three heading towards the grate, she went up to her and asked "So is there a reason why you saved that octoling over there?"

Agent 3 turned around in shock of Agent 2's curiosity, "*mind* Shit, I thought she forgot about that!" Agent 3 quickly tried to change the subject "W-What do you think of the Squid Sisters? I think they're pretty fresh."

"Don't try to change the subject." Agent 2 said with a glare, she then asked again "Why did you save that octoling back there, you could've just let her fall and captured the zapfish, but you didn't, so why?"

"Okay, first of all, she is a dude, and second of all, why not? He gave me a challenge, all you did was knock him out." I

"Agent 3, there are no such thing of a Male Octoling, frankly I don't think that they exist." Agent 2 said with disbelief

Just then a voice interrupted their conversation "Hey!"

The 3 agents turned around and saw the same octoling that Agent 3 saved

The Male Octoling then gave Agent 3 a zapfish "Thank you for saving me." He said while being embarrassed

Agent 3 still dumbfounded at the actions of the Octoling's doings, responded "You're welcome?"

The octoling then walked away, but then shouted "J-Just because you saved my life d-doesn't mean I like you! We're still e-enemies!" He then ran back with his face flushed red

Agent 3 still processing of what had happened looked at Agent 1 and 2 for answers

Agent 2 shrugged

Agent 1 however giggled "Looks like some octarian has a crush on a certain squid."

"Oh hush you." She said with the zapfish still in her arms, she then thought "*mind* Huh, maybe he wasn't so bad after all." She then gave the zapfish to Agent 2 and stand on the grate

"Oh hey Three! Which team are you choosing? I'm on team Spongebob!" Agent 1 said with excitement in her voice

"Oh, I'm on team Patrick."

"Huh!? Why!????" Agent 1 said with a disappointed look

"Don't know, just did. Welp see ya!" Agent 3 said as she swam through the grate back to Inkopolis Plaza
