I clicked the confirmation button as I sat back. It was now confirmed that I was going back to Davison’s office on Saturday 10 am.

I picked up my cup of tea and took a sip as I pulled my laptop lid down. Lisa was dancing in front of me to the song old town road.

She was trying to impress me.

“Don’t you find it amazing that I can dance, and I haven’t been lessons.”

“So amazing,” I said with a smirk and Lisa stood still with her hand on her hips.

“You sound sarcastic,” I put my cup down before folding my arms.

“I am not being sarcastic. Your dancing is impressive!”

“No, it’s the best!”

“Okay it’s the best. Happy?” I asked in a bored tone.

“Ecstatic!” My phone started ringing and I looked to see it was an unknown number. I picked up the call and started to make my way to my bedroom.

“Hello?”

“What did I tell you before?” I frowned and pulled my phone away from ear before looking at the
number again.

I put the phone back to my ear.

“Who is this?” I asked in confusion.

“It’s the man you want to work for,” I sat up straight in shock before letting out a soft cough.

It couldn't be Davison.

“Richard? its nice to hear from you but I don’t understand what- “

“-I told-in fact I warned you not to confirm the tour and you did,” I almost felt regretful as he sounded
very angry and annoyed.

“I need a job,” I explained lamely before I heard him laugh with such coldness.

“You need a job? Well I don’t want you as my assistant. What part don’t you understand?”

“The why you don’t want an assistant?” Richard took in a sharp breath making me pull the phone away from my ear.

I couldn't help but giggle.

This was quite entertaining.

“Oh, I want an assistant! I just don’t want you. I have other people I would like around me. Not you. And what is so of putting is the fact that my dad is trying to force you on me which I hate. He sees I don’t want you and immediately wants you to start working. If I had said I wanted you
trust me, you wouldn’t have got any email. My dad always does the opposite of what I want.”

I sat still, thinking about all of this.

Was it worth it?

To have a man who has an attitude and problems as my boss.

“Hello?” he asked annoyingly causing me to roll my eyes.

“Yes,” I answered quietly, and I could literally hear the smile in his next words.

“You are considering leaving I can tell. I am glad you have this thought in your mind. Just email my dad
and lie that you are not interested because I don’t want you. If you don’t...if you don’t do this then trust
me, you aren’t going to have it easy around this place.”

“Then it looks like I am not getting it easy,” I said calmly as I lay on my bed, looking up at the ceiling.

“What?” he asked sounding shocked and horrified.
