I could barely keep my eyes opened in Richard's boring meeting and I knew Peter was having the same fate where ever he was.

I stared at the powerpoint slides feeling like I was about to fall asleep.

"So why do you think we should join our companies together?" A man with a thick German accent asked.

I rolled my eyes because Richard had been talking for 30 minutes about why this should happen.

Richard's face went slightly red and I couldn't help but snort.

He was probably thinking the same thing. He briefly explained everything again but the man with the accent wasn't satisfied.

"I am not sure how convincing you are. You look more interested in getting out of here."

Richard stood there with his mouth wide open.

"He is actually more interested in closing this deal which you are going to do anyways. So stop being annoying about it, " I sat absolutely still when I realised what I had just said.

I was so tired and I just wanted to leave. I wanted to go home and sleep. But now I got the man with the accent's attention.

"What did you just say?"

"She said nothing sir," Richard interrupted.

I stood up and went to the front, "Richtarded is a successful man with a great business. Why wouldn't you want to work with him?"

One man wearing glasses turned to the man with the accent, "She has a good point Sir."

The man with the accent rubbed his chin, "Who is Richtarded?" My eyes widened.

"It's urmm..."

"A man who works here. His name is Richtarded and Miranda gets confused sometimes. Don't you Miranda?"

"Yes all the time. I am just never confused when it gets to acknowledging how great Richard and his company is."

The men all nodded looking satisfied. I was satisfied. Soon all of them were shaking hands and leaving.

"Looks like we have a deal," the man with the accent said and Richard shook his hand.

When he left the room Richard turned to face me, a big smirk on his face. "You called me Richard."

"So? You called me Miranda."

"That's only because you gave me no choice and was being stupid."

"My stupidity gave you a deal," I said with a flipped my hair.

Richard nodded, "So do we still call each other dumb names."

"Yes Richtarded. Just don't do it in meetings."

"Right," Richard looked at his watch. "Want to do some translating for me?"

Hell no! I want to sleep.

"Sure."

We went back to his office and worked in silent.

Every now and then we would make eye contact but would quickly look away.

"Stop starring you pervert," I put my pen down before giving Richard a dirty look.

Did he just call me a pervert?!?

"I am not a pervert you dumb arse! For you to see me looking that means you were looking at me, " Richard chuckled.

"I saw you from the corner of my eye."

"Whatever!"

"Speaking of whatever. Whatever have you done about the dead dog's head in the box. Did you tell the police?"

I frowned.

"Was I suppose to?"

"Well yes."

"I am taking care of it. Thank you very much Richtarded."

"You report these type of things to the police dummy."

"Then why didn't you?"

Richard ran his fingers through his hair.

"It's not my business okay."

"Then shut it!"

Richard stood up and walked to the door. "Just make sure no more dog's heads arrive in this premises."

I rolled my eyes and went back to work.

Translating the impossible.
