The one name that alerted both Queen and Delia's thought was Pandora. After going through the trial Delia knew more or less everything about Delia. So when King mentioned how Pandora brought him to life, Delia went on alert and regretted leaving without telling Wendy.
"I still love you." He whispered and Delia felt awkward about the whole deal.
He was Queen's first love and she remembered how much Queen loved him. But those were all memories to her.
"You were probably one of the few people who cared for me, thank you for that." She said trying not to hurt the person she once loved.
"I was the only one Jillian." He contradicted.
"No, Devian has always been there for me. And it's Delia now." She let out an exasperated sigh.
Why did Pandora bring him out?
"Do you not trust me anymore? I am not asking for love." He pleaded.
"Pandora brought your soul back. I really don't know what to think?" She said kindly in case he was just an innocent victim in all this.
"She hates the Light Guardian and you. She brought me here so that you are conflicted for who you love more." He said and that made sense but a petty move for Pandora.
But that was how she is, petty and vindictive.
"But there is no conflict." She said defiantly and saw hurt in King's eyes.
"I mean I love him and I am sorry for not reciprocating your feelings." She said in a small tone feeling guilty for no reason.
And even though Harold, he felt his heart pluck for the girl. She was too innocent, too good and felt bad for what was about to follow.
"I know, I can see that now. But she plans to kill everyone you love and then turn Devian evil through all the darkness coursing through him." He said setting the story into motion.
"But I am not strong enough to stop her, not yet," Delia said panic building in her now.
"I know and that is why I want to help you. Even if you don't love me I still love you." He said trying to guilt trip her into agreeing to his plan.
"O-Kay, what should we do?" Delia being too nice to a fault agreed to accept his help.
"The Queen of Hell has agreed to help us as you know and Pandora's soul is scattered right now and too difficult to track. Why don't you lure her for a battle and hold her soul and Persephone can take it to hell?" He said offering a remotely simple solution.
"Will that keep Devian, Melaney and Wendy safe?" She asked not even caring about herself.
"Yes."
"But I need to tell Devian about this. What if something goes wrong and I-I can't see him again." She said looking genuinely worried about that.
Again the King felt the pain of doing of what he was about to do. For some reason, he can't think of anything else other than the orders given by Pandora.
"If you tell him do you think he will let you do it. He will somehow try to put himself in danger to protect you." Delia nodded understanding that telling Devian would do no good.
"Okay then let's go before night ends and someone realized I am gone." She said putting on a brave front and through her older memories trusting the King.
