Chapter 30: Tadao

After school I went to go check on Tadao.

When I got to his house and knocked on the door he didn't answer so I used the key he gave me to come into the house

"Tadao?"

I went into his room and my eyes widened to see Tadao on the floor literally lying down on his own blood.

He had stab wounds all on his back. I ran towards him and picked him up.

"Hey! Hey! Get up! Tadao! Stop joking!!" I yelled.

I had him in my arms. This is no time to call the ambulance I'll just take him there myself.

I got to the hospital and I contacted my family about it. They later came.

"Tadao is hurt?" Miyako said

Yes, I told her to come.

"Y-Yeah!" I said

I was sitting in the chair tapping my foot and biting my nails. I was scared. I don't want to lose my best friend.

"Oh boy! He's your best friend Hiroki!" My mom said

"Will he live?" asked Lisa

"Who even did this to him?" Yoshiro said

The doctor came out and told me to come in and I did.

Tadao was on the hospital bed with his eyes closed. Please tell me they aren't going to announce that he's dead. I can't stop worrying.

"Is he alive?" Hiroki said

"We got a pulse, but we don't know if he'll survive this or not." The doctor said

Isn't he a doctor!? He needs to do something!

I went by his side and he opened his eyes to look at me.

"My... Time with you was fun Hiro... I'm surprised.. you aren't.. crying yet.. thanks for everything.." he mumbled

His eyes closed again and I literally was about to have an heart attack. This cannot be happening!

"What! Wait Tadao!" I yelled

I tried to calm down because If I had a heart attack here it wouldn't be good.

I don't want to cry but I want to cry.

His eyes were closed with a smile on his face.

"He's dead isn't he.." I mumbled

I bit my lip and placed my hands over my face

At this point I was crying. I couldn't stop. I am hurt extremely hurt. Why would someone do this... I just lost a very special bond...

"I can hear him crying out here.." my mom said

Yoshiro tried to comfort my mom

"Tadao why?!" I yelled

He opened his eyes and started to giggle then he coughed.

"I wouldn't die so easily Hiro. You should know that." Tadao said

I wiped my face fast as if I wasn't crying

"D-Damn you Tadao." I said

He tried not to laugh. I wanted to punch him in the face, but he was hurt so I couldn't. I will find whoever did this to him.

"He needs surgery for his stab wounds but he could've died because he lost a lot of blood. Good thing you bought him here Hiroki Suzuki." The doctor said

I nodded

This Idiot tricked me. I feel so embarrassed... If he really did die.. I don't know what I could do without him. I love that dude way too much to be losing.
