Welcome to my book! I hope you enjoy this take on the BNHA universe. The beginning is kind of...interesting and dark but I don't like super stories that are angsty the whole time so it does get light and humorous a lot...it is canon but canon-divergent on some stuff because a new character and keeping canon the whole time is boring! I'm always up for constrictive criticism, I've been doing heavy editing as well to fix some things, and if you catch something needing editing don't hesitate to let me know! Thank you again for reading and I really hope you like this!

One day long ago in Quig Quig, China, a luminescent baby was born with a unique power. Then, as time passed, the similar phenomena happened all over the world, and soon the majority of the population had obtained superhuman powers known as "quirks". Due to that, villainy went on the rise but that made room for people to pursue professions, like heroism, that used to only be possible in fiction.

At the top of a tall mountain hidden in the Rockies, November 12th, Tenshi Hikari, a woman with hair as white as snow and glowing purple eyes was giving birth for the first time. Her husband, Tenshi Akiko, a scarred and yet kind looking man with navy blue locks and large wings on his back stayed by her side letting her squeeze his hand as she grit her teeth in the pain of labor.

After 6 hours of pushing, a healthy baby girl emerged. The special doctors hired for this situation took the newborn away quickly and cleaned the blood and fluids from birth off of the child, the only sounds the baby made were whimpers and cries from the smack of her bottom to open her lungs. When she was clean and wrapped in a silky pink blanket, she was handed carefully back to her mother so they could have skin on skin contact.

"It's a baby girl. What's her name going to be?" The couple shared a look and replied together.

"[Name]." They stared down at their child in awe, she was a beautiful puffy blob of a baby. She was their baby, the one to continue on their lineage. She had purple eyes that were looking curiously to the blurry world around her.

On the top of her head she had the smallest tufts of curly bright blue hair. The most surprising feature was on the small girl's back. There were small wings protruding from her back and the tips of the tiny wings ended at her toes. Her parents watched in fascination as their child blinked her eyes a few times before getting too exhausted and falling asleep, nuzzling more into the warm bosom of her mother.

The doctors took the small [Name], giving her to be held by her father to allow Hikari to have her post-natal checkup as well as finish off little [Name]'s checkup as well.

Her large lung capacity was unusual but of no concern, it was said to be related to her mutated quirk. Papers were signed and birth certificates were made, although they are secret from the outside world, the new family of three finally was able to enjoy their new lives in peace.

There are 6 classifications of people in the quirk filled society: civilians (everyday people), police officers (people who weren't quite up to par with being a pro-hero), petty criminals (basically people who commit lame crimes just to do it), villains (the black and white bad guys who usually had 'scary' quirks-Yakuza included-), the pro heroes (the good guys with the hero licenses who fought against crime with their own quirks), the vigilantes (Heroes who went about heroics illegally), the mercenaries (people who killed for money). Your parents were part of the mercenary category. Mercenaries are people who kill for money (pretty much the same as a mercenary if you were being honest).

The good guys, the government who supports the pro hero's would hire mercenaries like your parents to get rid of bad guys without all the issues of trials, it keeps everything on the down low, and it keeps heroes (especially those who are in the spotlight a lot) from having to kill all the time. Villains also hire mercenaries like your parents to get rid of somebody they can't or so they don't get tied back to it. This is why families like yours were considered ancient, a way of life that stopped existing as the world grew and changed. Nobody wants to admit hiring an outside source to kill people for them. Lucky for you, you were born into a powerful family of assassins which means, the reason of your birth was to be an assassin.
