An Echo

I tried to tell you.
I told you with my eyes.
When that didn't work,
I told you lies.
After that I whispered.
The whisper grew into a roar.
A shout for help begins to soar.
It flew through a tunnel of darkness.
It was fierce and loud,
But it became an echo.
My pain is only an echo.
An echo in your ear.
An echo filled with fear.
An echo no one can hear.
You asked me why I never spoke of it.
I tried to tell you.
But you never listen
And no one sees me.
Words have no weight when you're lost in the endless void of space.
No one can hear your screams in space.
I tried to tell you.
