A Fairytail

The prince had left the alter
Leaving a father and the bride.
A princess and her handmaid
Went on a carriage ride.
My knight rode into the sunset
As the water rose in tide.
A fox made a promise
But the rabbit knows he lied.
The lone wolf walked alone
And alone is where he died.
The chicken lost her head
For she would always chide.
I looked at the carnage,
Took out a knife, and sighed.
Everyone has gone away
And there is no one to confide.
