"So what? You're getting ready for a hot date?" She mumbles, laying on Billy's bed and going through a semi decent magazine.

Billy's sprays his hair with hair spray as he looks at himself in the mirror, "Yeah, she sounds hot." He replies, causing Kimberly's brow to arch.

"Sounds hot?" She questions, looking up at him.

Billy takes a small bottle of, what she can only assume is cologne, and smears it on his wrist before turning to Kim. "She got my number, said her name was, uh,"

She laughs and shakes her head, "You don't even know her name, do you?"

Billy fixes his earring while looking into the mirror, "Does it matter?"

Kim sighs, "So you're telling me, I came over for no reason?"

Billy grumbles a laugh, "Aren't you suppose to watch Max?"

She looks up again, her feet hanging in the air as she lays chest down, "I let her go to the arcade and well, you're leaving so I guess I have to stay here alone?"

Billy shakes his head, giving himself a last look in the mirror before starting to put on his leather jacket. "Screwed your self over Kimmy," he teases.

Her face scrunches and she throws the magazine his way, "Don't call me that asshat,"

Billy laughs and takes a last puff of his cigarette before putting it out. "Well, I should get going."

Kimberly sighs and gets up from the bed, "I think I'll catch up with max at the arcade."

Billy flicks the light off once they're both out the door. She leads the way downstairs as he follows.

"It's like I'm looking at Nancy Wheeler but with a nicer ass." Billy comments, his eyes can't help but train on her rear.

Kim scowls, turning to him, "Can you not look at my butt?"

Billy only laughs as they descend down the stairs. "You're walking in front of me, it's not like I can help it."

Finally, after reaching the bottom, Kimberly turns to Billy. "So I'll uh, see you in the morning?"

Billy nods, taking his lighter and box of cigarettes and lighting one. "Yeah."

She gives a curt nod as Billy makes his way through the front door before closing it behind him.

She heavily sighs while sitting on a couch. There was no point in being here yet here she was. She felt uneasy knowing that Mr. and Mrs. Hargrove could find out about Max not being home and take it out on Billy.

So with a sigh, she grabs her sweater and begins making her way out the door.

"You almost got it!" Kimberly yells, eyes gleaming.

A smile is plastered on Max's lips, her heart racing. It had been weeks that she had attempted to beat her own high score and finally, she was merely a few points from surpassing it.

Max's tongue hangs out of her mouth, her eyes wide in concentration. "Come on, come on..." she mumbles, her hands moving quickly and almost effortlessly.

The boys too, swarmed her. Lucas was in disbelief and couldn't help but gape. Mike seemed unamused, yet inside he was heavily impressed and couldn't believe his eyes. Like Lucas, Dustin held a big smile and his eyes seemed to grow by the second.

Keith too, watched Max behind the boys and Kim. Like most days, his fingers were stained orange as he ate his daily bag of Cheetos.

"Damn it!" Max yells, her fist pounding on the machine as it showed a 'Game Over' sign.
