She picked at her nails while her teeth
nibbled on the inside of her cheek, "This wasn't a good idea, can we go back?"

Billy can't help but roll his eyes, "Kim, we're already here." He turns to look at her, "You convinced me to bring you, remember?"

Kim sighs, sinking into the seat as her heart raced in her chest, "I thought I could do it...but I can't B, I really can't."

Billy shuts the engine off, sighing before tilting his head to the side, "They're all bark but no bite." Billy attempts, raising a brow.

Kim chews on her lip harder, almost tasting the blood. Her leg bounced anxiously and her hands grew clammy. "But you're Billy Hargrove, what are they going to say?" She turns to him with a worried expression, almost looking like she going to cry.

Billy's brows furrow as he looks at her, all vulnerable and shit. "You're overthinking this." Billy finds a cologne and puts some on his wrist. "It's a stupid high school party, it's about having fun and getting wasted."

Kim nods, taking a deep breath. "You're right. I'm being silly. Everything's fine, everything is going to be fine." She mumbles to herself, hoping to boost her confidence.

Billy smirks as he put the cap back on the cologne, "There's my girl." He teases, earning an eye roll and "You're so annoying," from Kimberly.

Kim takes on last deep breath before opening the door and making her way out of the Camaro.

Billy follows, lighting a cigarette while he catches up to Kim.

Kim raises a brow, "Bad boy must enter with a cigarette, huh?" She smiles, shaking her head in amusement.

Billy dismisses her comment as he takes a long drag of the cigarette.

Kim walks beside Billy, her nerves to the roof and her heart beginning to race again.

I shouldn't be here.

Kim rushes next to Billy, his long strides making it difficult to catch up.

Her eyes widen and a brow raises as her view sets on the big house before them.

Kimberly herself was wealthy and her house was at least twice the size, but it wasn't the house size that scared her. She had never seen a house filled with teenagers from top to bottom and it amused her.

The house seemed to shake along with the vibrations of what she could only assume was rock music. Even in the front lawn there were red cups sprawled out everywhere.

Billy stops a few feet from the entrance, the people outdoor already having their eyes on him.

Kim furrows her brows and she turns to Billy, confused. "Why'd you stop?"

Billy takes a long inhale on his cigarette and he closes his eyes for a second, his lips curling into a smirk. "There's no turning back now, Reeves."

Kim sighs and nods, "I figured."

Billy laughs, shaking his head. "Stop being so tense, no one gives a shit what anyone else is doing."

Kim looks down at her outfit and slightly frowns, "I feel underdressed."

Billy scans her, his eyes stopping at her chest. He couldn't help it. The dress she wore was not something he'd think she would own.

Kim felt exposed, almost as if she was completely nude. The tight black dress was the only party friendly dress from her closet, so without triple checking her comfort, she slipped it on and hurried towards Billy's car.
