D.E.O

Kara had been paced the floor of the D.E.O Facility for the past hour, waiting for some sort of response.

"Why is he always late?" She stopped to ask Alex, before going back to pacing the floor "I... I can't imagine how someone like him, always happens to show up late to everything."

Alex leaned her back against the control console, and just watched her sister. She couldn't help but crack a smile when hearing her sister's banter, "Ha! Like you're any better."

Kara stopped her pacing, and gave her adoptive sister a questionable look, "What are you talking about? When am I ever late?"

Alex couldn't hold back her chuckle, "Didn't you show up to Earth like, thirty years late?"

Kara opened her mouth to argue back, but quickly closed it, when she realized that she had nothing to fight back with.

Alex continued to laugh at her sister, while Kara just shot her multiple angry glares. The two were so focused on each, that they nearly missed the interdimensional portal opening up in front of them.

A blue and white, spiral portal, opened up in the middle of the D.E.O, causing all the agents to stop working and stare. It wasn't long before a man in red and yellow suit and cowl, came walking out.

As the portal closed behind him, he took a look around the facility. It wasn't long before he spotted the person that he was looking for, "Kara."

"Barry!" Kara yelled as she ran over to him quickly, her cape flapping behind her.

The two embraced each other hard, and held on to each other for a long while. Once they let go, Kara couldn't help but give Barry a strange look of confusion.

Barry noticed this and got curious, "What's wrong."

Kara reached up and grabbed Barry's chin lightly with her hand. She then turned his head to the left, before turning it to the right.

"What are you doing?" Barry asked her, confused as to what his super friend was doing.

"The chin strap on your suit, it's gone." She answered, "Were you wearing this during our last crossover?"

"Yeah. You already saw me wear it." Barry told her, "Why? You don't like it?"

"Honestly, no." Kara admitted, "I liked you better when you had a chin strap."

Barry sighed heavy, lots of people have been telling him that lately, "That's it, I'm bring back the chin strap, this new look isn't working."

Kara couldn't help but giggle at his reaction to her criticism. She gave him one more hug before Alex came over and interrupted them.

"Barry, it's nice to see you again." Alex said, pushing Kara out of the way to give him a hug.

"It's good to see you Alex." Barry returned the hug. Once he let go of her, he took off his cowl, and turned to Kara.

"You know your late." Kara gave him a smirk, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Sorry, it's just that I have something going on back home." Barry answered.

Kara couldn't help but noticed a bit of a drop in tone in his excuse, normally she'd ask if he was ok, but she didn't think it would be appropriate right now. Especially, with Alex and a bunch of agent surrounding them.

"So, why did you call me? We normally don't meet up until like around the end of fall." Barry asked.

"Oh yeah..." Kara remembered, "Alex."
