*Harry's POV*
Harry was waiting in the competitors tent, along with the other three. Harry paced nervously. He knew they would be facing dragons. What if it killed him? Harry felt better knowing that half the girls in the grade would be supporting him as well as Draco, his love. They were assigned dragons to fight by pulling small replicas out of a small bag. Harry got the worst- a Hungarian horn tail.
He feared fighting the dangerous monster but remembered Draco's tip- use your wand. Harry loved his boyfriend for helping him so much. Draco felt it wasn't a big deal but to Harry, this meant a lot.
By now, all the other competitors had faced their dragons and all succeeded in doing so. Now it was Harry's turn. He tried to calm down a little bit so the whole school wouldn't see him shaking like a coward.
"Harry Potter!" The announcer shouted as Harry shuffled into the arena, still in the cave he had entered through. He observed the arena and searched for the egg. He found it, unprotected on the other side. Piece of cake Harry thought as he strolled out of the cave before a giant tail came out if nowhere and smacked the rocks half a metre away form him. "HARRY!" A familiar voice screamed, fear evident in his comment.
Draco. Do it for Draco. Harry pushed himself off the rocks and scrambled away form the dragon and towards the egg. "Accio fire bolt!" Harry shouted, thinking he could really use that right now. Soon enough the broom stick flew through the sky in the distance to be in the arena soon. The dragon spat fire towards Harry while he hid behind a boulder waiting for his broom to arrive.
He took the leap of faith and landed safely on his broom, now souring around the dragons head, taunting the angry dragon. "YES!" Draco screamed. Harry couldn't help but smile. For Draco. He flew to the opposite side of the arena to study how he could get to the egg safely.
SNAP
The dragon soured towards Harry who was unable to move he was that stunned that the dragon had just broke the chains. Draco said they wouldn't let a dragon kill me, now it might Harry thought to himself. Harry panicked in his mind, automatically, he flew towards Draco but realised that could endanger his love. He darted to the teachers area, the dragon following with its tail leaving a path of destruction. Harry quickly turned and fled the arena, the dragon hot on his tail. Harry raced towards the school where he thought he could lose the dragon and get the egg safely.
When he though he had lost the dragon, fire blasted ahead giving no time to stop. In a flash, Harry muttered a spell, protecting him from the fire. He had to get the egg now. He raced back to the arena, the dragon following quickly. The dragon was catching up and fast. Harry NEEDED to lose it. He saw a bridge thinking that the dragon would probably try follow Harry through. The dragon would the be knocked out, leaving Harry plenty of time to get the golden egg.
Harry darted towards the bridge and flew through. The dragon doing as he planned, screeched as it painfully fell into the valley the bridge was built to cross. Perfect. Harry's heart pounded as he neared the arena. "YES!" Harry heard his love, Draco Malfoy, yell. Cheers erupting from everyone including most of the Slytherin house. Most only clapped because Draco was and he was like the leader of Slytherin house. Harry hurtled toward the golden egg and scooped it in his arm, smiling like it was the first time he caught the snitch.
*Draco's POV*
Worried murmurs filled the arena as Harry had been gone twenty minutes and there was no sign of him coming back. "Don't worry, he'll make it back" one of Harry friends assured Draco. He thought that it was great that the school accepted Draco and Harry being gay.
"It's him" Draco said in awe as Harry speed towards the arena, no dragon in sight. He lost it! He's so smart! Draco thoughts were about how amazing his boyfriend was. Draco started clapping, nearly the whole crowd joining in. "YES!" Draco yelled so happy that Harry was safe. Harry zoomed for the egg and cradled it in his arm as he looked around triumphantly. Everyone swarmed around him but made a clear path for Draco to strut over to Harry.
"I told you that it would be fine" Draco said while pulling Harry into a hug.
"Is that ALL I get?" Harry smirked. Draco grinned in return planting a sweet kiss on Harry's pink lips. "That was better" Harry chuckled, resting his head on Draco's chest. They strolled to the Gryffindor common room where a party was going to be held for Harry's accomplishment. The Gryffindors allowed Draco into the common room because Harry was his boyfriend , but just in case, they said they'd be keeping a close eye on him.
Draco sat in an armchair while taking sips of butter beer, trying to avoid awkward conversations with the Gryffindors. Harry shuffled to Draco and slumped on Draco's lap and rested his head on Draco's shoulder. Harry started to tell Draco how it was annoying having to tell the same story over and over again. Harry let out a big yawn and snuggled his face into the crook of Draco's neck.
"Awww, is widdle baby Hawwy tired?" Draco asked, talking like a baby. Harry just nodded and looked up at Draco with puppy dog eyes "I'm tired. Put me to bed?" Harry asked while wrapping his arms around Draco's neck. Draco carried Harry to his room, but by now Harry was already asleep. Draco looked at Harry and thought about how peaceful he looked while sleeping.
Suddenly, Harry jerked upright causing Draco to nearly drop him. "What is it? Bad dream?" Draco asked Harry who just rubbed his eyes "Dunno, don't remember" Harry said trying think of what happened. "Time for bed, Harry" Draco said mimicking a mother while tucking Harry under the covers "I think it was a nightmare though" Harry said, the thought scaring him a bit.
"Sleep with me?" Harry asked with puppy dog eyes. The question caused Draco to blush deeply "NOT THAT WAY!!" Harry quickly added "Just sleeping and cuddling and kissing" Harry summed up. "Sure" Draco climbed under the covered and started to cuddle Harry.
They gave each other kisses goodnight and slept peacefully together.
*Ron's POV*
Ron was down in the common room celebrating his best friend safely completing the first challenge of the Tri Wizard Tournament. Harry looked tired of telling the same story over and over, but personally, Ron could listen to it a thousand times and never get bored. After a few hours, the party came to an end and everyone went to bed.
Ron climbed the staircase to the dorm he shared with Harry, Neville, Dean and couple more boys. Ron opened the door to an image he hated- Harry and Draco, asleep and cuddling. "Could they go somewhere more private?" Neville said, as shocked Ron.
"Obviously not" Ron said trying to not think about it. He got changed and climbed into his bed and rolled so he wasn't facing Harry bed where the unnameable sight was. Ron drifted to sleep but to be woken by a blood curdling scream.
"DRACO!" Harry screamed, fear obvious in his voice.
