Bio: Derek is without a doubt, the most immature of the Kirkland kids, and the Nation kids as a whole. He is the "rebel child" of the bunch, much like his free spirited mother, he not only has the mythical sight like everyone in his family (England, Scotland, London and Edinburgh being the stronger ones), but he drags them and his friend Amos into playing pranks on the other kids, but most of the time the fairies will retreat if the victim of the pranks are those with strong magic (Scotland and England). He is also very artistic and loves painting murals, some connecting to his Celtic roots, and others as tributes to his family, especially his grandmother, Britannia. He is not friends with all of the magical creatures in his mother's country. There are those, like the Pooka and the Banshees that are what terrify him so badly, that most nights he won't be able to sleep, unless he is given a sedative half the time. And despite not acting it, he carries a deep sense of community and family devotion to the others Nation, and their kids. He will always give them a shamrock clover for good luck.
