Its 11:30 AM and I am damn excited for 3:00 PM. Its gonna be Prom Night! And having no Date is never a reason not to enjoy prom.
I was sitting pretty on my bed, listening to Mother Monster when suddenly my iPhone vibrated. I just received a message from Patricia,one of my bestfriends, "What time do we meet up by the mall later?", she asked
"Mall? what mall?! No one told me about meeting up at the mall later?", i replied
"Half of the class will be meeting up there. Wont you meet up too?",she replied to my complaint.
"You want me to wear a suit to the mall?? I'm sorry but i wont be meeting up with you there. I have to get to the venue ahead.", I replied to her.
I layed down on my bed once again, hoping for more of my classmates to text me. An hour passed and nobody dared to let my phone vibrate again. I waited and waited until the time that I have to bathe or freshen-up and change came. I was in my bathroom and I finally heard my phone vibrate on my room desk. I rushed for it and read the message that just arrived. It was Dan, the guy of my heart. Well... just my big time crush.
He messaged me: "Ren, will you allow me to hitch a ride on the way to the Prom Venue?"
"Of course you can. Wait up in the gates of the school anytime now. I will be there around 1:30", I replied
"Its 1:10 -.-", he replied right away
"Meaning you have 20 minutes left :P",I replied.
"Fine :P", he ended the conversation.
I wore my long sleeved pull-over and slacks, then took my suit. I hurried to the school dormitory-basement and contacted my driver, ten minutes later he arrived in front of me and I rode in. My driver slowly drived out of the basement parking lot. "We will be letting Dan hitch with us today to the prom venue.", I told my driver
"sure thing, Mr. Radds. Where will we be fetching them?", he asked me.
"Just there by the school gates",I informed him.
"Okey...", he murmurred.
He drove slowly to the school gates making me fall to a short nap. Assuming, I think 5 minutes have passed and we were waiting by the school gates. I heard a knock or taps on the window, out of the blue and a beautiful manly voice called out my name.
"Ren!",the voice called and I opened the door... i saw Dan's beautiful face; raising my mood. But it wasnt only him there
"uhm, Ren...You wouldnt mind if two of my friends ride too, right?",Dan said.
I turned quiet. My mood level went to the lowest level. I was brought down.
"Of course i wouldnt mind", I said.
"Thanks :D" Dan said in a smile.
