"Why w-would you do th-that?" Roman asked with a shaky voice.

"It calms me down.." I explained simply.

"Please don't do this anymore." He cried. He pulled me into a hug and sobbed into the crook of my neck.

"I'll try to." I hugged him back, almost crying just from hearing him cry.

He continues to cry as we hugged each other. I wrap my wings around him in a comforting manner.

We stay in that position for a while. Romans cries get softer and he calms down a bit more.

Eventually he falls asleep from crying so much and I take in the moment of him sleeping in my arms.

I lay him down on my bed. I crawl into my bed with him and wrap my wings around him again.

I probably won't be falling asleep since I almost just now woke up and I did nothing to tire me.

I stare at Romans wings. They're so pretty.

I smile and start petting them again.

I move my eyes away from his wings and to his face. He's so adorable when he's sleeping..

My eyes then move to his lips.

He's sleeping...

Can't I just... kiss him... right now?

..No, I can't.

Consent is a thing, damnit.

I look back at his wings. Why couldn't I get wings like this? His are so pretty.

Roman slowly starts to wake up and I smile.

"G'morning, Roman." I purr.

"Good morning." He greets. He sits up and stretches his wings out. "Sorry I fell asleep."

"It's ok." I smiled.

"...I'm hungry." Roman said.

"You can go get food if you want." I told him.

"Are you not hungry?" He asked.

"Um, no." I hesitated to answer.

"You haven't eaten in almost a week! You have to be hungry!" He exclaimed.

Welp, there's no getting out of this one. I guess I'll just have to throw it up later.

"Ok, let's go." I sighed. Roman nodded in agreement.

I tucked my wings into my shirt as I put it on, along with my jacket of course. I started heading toward my door, when I heard Roman speak.

"I need to stop by my room to change." He remembered. "I'll be back in a minute.

"Ok." I smiled, and went downstairs to the kitchen to wait.
