The next morning, I woke to a strong headache and laying down on the sofa between Wonwoo and Mingyu, with Minghao laying on the armchair almost as if he had fallen.
"What are we doing here?" I said sitting down properly as I had my head on Mingyu's chest and my legs on Wonwoo's lap. "My throat hurts..."
I then began coughing like crazy and had to go to the sink to drink some water. In the process, I had woken Mingyu up with my coughing.
"Eunji?" He said with a groggy voice before coughing himself.
He then also stood up and grabbed the glass I had just used to drink some water too to stop his coughing. He then grabbed his head as he too seemed to be in pain.
"I think we caught a cold," Mingyu said. "The worst part is we don't have any medicine."
"We can buy some before we leave," I told him. "God, my throat is killing me."
"I'll go now, don't worry," he said grabbing his wallet. "There is a pharmacy just around the corner."
"You just woke up, Mingyu," I told him. "We can wait for Minghao and Wonwoo to wake up."
"Don't worry," he said and coughed again. "I will be back in fifteen minutes."
He then left and I checked the time, seeing it was already half past nine. We had spent the previous night celebrating that we had finally finished recording the entire movie and went back to the hotel at nearly four in the morning, so it was understandable that the boys were still fast asleep. Still, we would have to leave the hotel in just an hour and a half, so we had to pack everything.
Before waking them up, I went to the room I shared with Minghao and changed into another set of clothes, making sure to put Mingyu's shirt away so I could wash it before giving it back to him when we were back in Seoul. I had only brought summer clothes as when we had first looked at the weather forecast it said it wouldn't rain and that the weather would be very nice, so I had nothing that would particularly help me with the cold I had. Still, I just wore the outfit I had initially prepared and hoped that my cold wouldn't get any worse than it already was. Once I was ready, I went back to the living room to finally wake the boys up.
"Wonwoo, Minghao!" I said shaking them awake. "Wake up, it's getting late."
"I want to sleep!" Minghao said cuddling more into the armrest.
"We have an hour to pack and there are a lot of things to do," I said before coughing. "Come on, wake up."
"Are you okay?" Wonwoo asked me. "Did you catch a cold?"
"I think so, yes," I answered. "Mingyu went to the pharmacy around the corner to buy medicine for both of us. He should come back soon."
They then finally woke up and went to their respective rooms to change their clothes, leaving me alone in the living room to pack everything there. It was all mainly the filming equipment so it wouldn't take that long.
"I'm back!" Mingyu said as he opened the door. "The woman at the pharmacy gave me red ginseng for free."
"She's an angel!" I said going towards him and tried to grab the receipt but he quickly went to the sink to grab some water. "How much was it? I'll pay."
"It was nothing!" He said getting the same glass from earlier and filling it with water once again. "Just take the medicine and that's it."
"But it's not fair! I'm sure it wasn't cheap and it's for both of us. Let me at least pay for half of it!" I said trying to grab it from him but failing. "Mingyu!"
"I said no!" He said rising his hand so I wouldn't be able to reach it. "Just surrender!"
"Never!" I said jumping to grab it.
He then suddenly leaned down and kissed my cheek before breaking the receipt and throwing it inside the bin, where he was sure I wouldn't search for it. He had really shocked me so I didn't even move to try to stop him, which made him laugh.
"Are you really flustered because of a kiss in the cheek after yesterday?" Mingyu said chuckling and did it again. "See? It's just a friendly kiss in the cheek! It's foreigner style."
"Okay, sick love birds!" Wonwoo said as he went out of his room. "Pack your bags after you take your medicine. I need to find a way to fit the flipping tripod inside the car."
"What happened to it?" I asked him while Mingyu took his medicine.
"I think one of the legs bent or something and now it wont fold anymore. Yanan said he knows someone who can get it fixed but we first need to take it to Seoul and it doesn't fit inside the trunk if it's open."
"Then why don't you lower one of the back seats and put it there?" I asked him and took the glass Mingyu had just used so I could take my medicine too. "Won't it fit that way?"
"Probably, yes!" Wonwoo exclaimed. "Thank you!"
I then washed the glass before going to my room, where Minghao was finishing preparing his bag. I then quickly took everything and placed it inside the bag since there weren't that many things and made sure neither Minghao nor me left anything in the room.
The door then opened and I saw Mingyu with a jacket in his hand. He then handed it to me, which left me confused, and he just laughed and flicked my forehead.
"I know you didn't even bring a jacket. Take mine, you can give it back to me when we are in Seoul," he said.
"Thank you!" I said giving him a hug. "By the way, I'll give you back your shirt after I have washed it."
"I can wash it myself!" He said.
"I insist," I said and kissed his cheek, this time being him the one blushing. "It's just a friendly kiss in the cheek! It's foreigner style."
