The Morning After

Saturday Morning, June 8th
The sun was rising in the city of New York around 8am where the sun was shining on Renee's face as she woke up from mind blowing sex with Michael last night. She looked to the right side of the bed and Michael was nowhere to be found.

Renee was smelling breakfast being cooked so she put on Michaels t-shirt that he wore last night. She heard faint sounds of the music playing in the kitchen.

Michael was cooking pancakes,bacon, and scrambled eggs which the aroma was making her stomach rumble. "Good morning beautiful"
"Good morning to you handsome smells good in here"
Mike couldn't help but smile at her when she said handsome.

Renee looked down and blushed
"Would you like some coffee" "Yes please creme and sugar..I'm exhausted I can't believe I'm still walking from last night I thought I would be limping"
Michael laughs
"I'm surprised too I need to step my stroke game up!"
"No you don't you stroke game is just fine trust me you are blessed down there"

They both laughed and sat down for breakfast.

Michael started the conversation and asked,
"So what are you doing today?"
"Well I'm going to call Faye and see if we can go on our shopping spree on our last day and mostly that is it..why you ask?"

"I'm heading to the airport later this afternoon to go back to LA I just wanted to know if you wanted to hang with me a little bit longer til I leave?"
"Let me call Faye and we can go from there"
"Cool tell her I said hello"

Renee grabbed her phone from the bedroom and noticed two missed calls from Faye and Malcolm.

She called Faye first
"Oh my God Nae sorry I didn't tell you where I was going last night.. but you got the idea"
"I did Faye.. so what's up?"
"So me and Corey hooked up last night and he wants to spend time with me before he goes back to LA so is it cool if we can shop after he leaves?"
"You know I was just going to ask you the same thing.. Mike wanted to spend time with me before he goes back.."

"Really?..you gave him some didn't you?"
"NO!! I did not Faye!"
she lied to her friend knowing it was wrong to do
"Alright I should FaceTime you and see myself and see you have that after sex glow.. uh huh"

"That's not necessary..well Im happy you had a good time last night so spend time with your new boo and ill see you later love ya!"

The next call Renee was dreading because she felt bad what she has done. Renee never cheated on Malcolm, but the feeling towards Michael was something that she couldn't explain. She took a deep breath and called him.

"Hey babygirl how are you this morning?"
"I'm doing good honey how are the kids?"
"They are doing fine Shemar keeps asking when are you coming home and I told him tomorrow night"
"That's my baby boy tell him I'll be home soon"
"So are you and Faye having fun?"
"Yes we are sorry my phone was on vibrate I missed your call"

"It's ok baby I know you are safe now, so I'm going drop the kids off to my mom's and head to the basketball court with the guys.. I'll call u later when I can"

"Okay honey talk to you soon"
"I love you babygirl" It took Renee a minute to say it feeling guilty. "I love you too"

She hung up and walked back in the kitchen.
"Faye is spending time with Corey til he leaves"
"Okay I'm going to get dressed and we can go back to your hotel to get some fresh clothes for you"
