"A lot has changed in the past month. A month ago we were in school and now we running from zombies. I wonder what our old selves would say if they heard that they would be killing people all the time?" Tommy asks
"We would probably think they are crazy, and there making stuff up" I say with a smile.
"Ash I need your help! Tommy is helping make dinner and I need you to get Lizzy and Murphy. Once we eat we will head out"
"I'm having a smoke leave me alone!" Ash yells
"I told you to stop smoking, it's not good for you and where did you get the smokes?"
Ash walks into the room and stomps up stairs. Ash comes downstairs "here they are"
"Ok good dinner is ready. Remember that New York is being bomb in two days we have to get out of the radius. Where in Albany, New York, and we want to get to Columbus, Ohio that 10 hours away but remember that doesn't count the time we go car to car."
I plate the food and everyone comes to get food.
"This is good ramen" Ash says
It takes us all twenty minutes for us to finish eating
"Ok guys we have to leave. Grab the guns and backpacks and let's go!"
We stand up and Tommy grabs mine and his weapons, he hands me my machete and my gun. He grabs my waist and leans in for a kiss. This kiss was an amazing kiss it had so much meaning and so much urgency.
Ash walks up to us and slaps Tommy in the face. "Leave my older sister alone you pervert." Tommy laughs and I walk up to Ash
"Once you find someone to love you'll understand" we walk out the door there are two zombies Ash jumps in front of us and kills both of them by stabbing them in the head. We jump into a van on the street I hot wire the van.
About twenty minutes of driving we hit a zombie, he hits the car with a thud and his head hits the window. His blood goes all over the window I turn the windshield wipers and smudge the blood into the window more. 4 more hours we drive no Z's in sight most of them are near the cities, or they are stuck in a car or houses. We finally see a car up ahead perfect timing we just hit the red sign. I pull the car over and tell everyone "Time for a new set of wheels" I step out of the van and walked to the car I look through the windows to see if there are any z's, in there but there wasn't. I swing my arm to show the group to come out and get in the car. They get out and Tommy comes up to me
"I'll drive you get some rest" I nod and sit in the passengers seat and close my eyes.
I wake up to a bump in the road I ask Tommy "how long have I been sleeping?"
"3 hours" Tommy explains
"Really?"
He nods. About two hours and thirty minutes later.
"We are here in Columbus"
