Tanizaki X Readers [Raining confession]

The sound of the alarm clock ran off as soon as it hit 5:00 Am in the morning. You turned off the sound and stretched your arms out. Your hair was in a big mess because you didn't dry your hair last night before bed. Since you live alone in this apartment it's okay to do whatever you want.

After you finished showering and cleaning off your body you put on your work uniform. And made some breakfast. Since you quite lazy in the morning you only made toasts with jam and peanut butter and a cup of instant coffee.

You locked your apartment and went to work. "Well, it's seem like I'm earlier usual. Let's just walk from here, it's only took 15 minutes." You observes the view of the early morning of city while walking to your work place. There aren't many people in this early morning, and the traffic isn't stuck like in the evening so it's easy to walk. "What's a fresh morning." You continued your walking and enjoyed the view.

Few minutes later, somehow you felt quite lonely because everyone that surrounded you are having fun with their partners or friend. Lovebirds!!!.I take back my words. This is the worst morning ever. I shouldn't have had 10 more minutes sleep. You cringe at the sight of those love couples in front you. "Now it ruined my mood." You grumpily murmured to yourself when out of the blue a familiar voice talked to you.

"What's just ruined your mood [Y/n]-kun?" An orange haired and a tall slender figure man came out of nowhere and stood by your side. "Oh, it's nothing Tanizaki-kun. It's nothing much. And good morning to you too." You greeted him with a smile. As a matter of fact you've been having a huge crush on him for awhile now.

It's longer than you can remember. What's bother you the most is that you're gutless to tell him how you felt. "Sorry for being rude. And good morning too. Want to walk together to the quarter?" He offered you his company with you. And you agreed without any doubt. Well now, I'll take back my word again. This is actually a perfect morning.

On the way to the quarter, you and Tanizaki talked about a lot of things when he asked you one question which almost made you choke on your own saliva. "Speaking of which, I know this quite personal to you but have ever had a boyfriend before?" The moment he finished his question you blankly looked at him.

You pointed at yourself confusingly even though you knew what he meant."Eh? Me? Have a boyfriend?...Oh no no no. No one would want a girl like me. I'm just a klutzy clumsy and unattractive girl. I mean....there tons of girls out there who are way better than me..." And the situation fell awkward. I can't stand this anymore. I just blabbered nonsense out of mouth in front of my crush. Urgh...how embarrassing.

"Oh would you looked at the time. It's almost time for work. Need to go now. See you at work Tanizaki." You quickly rushed away from him with your embarrassment face. On the way, you bumped into people and you said sorry to them dozen of times. Little did you know Tanizaki on the other hand also felt ashamed for asking you such a question.

After you reached the quarter, you got a surprise greeting from Dazai which was standing beside you. "What's happened to you, [Y/n]-kun. It's look like you're running away from a ghost or something." You ignored him and tried to caught some air to breathe.

"Am I a kid? Why would I scared of ghost?" A moment after you can breath normally you glared at him. "Well then, why would you run all the way here. And it's still 10 minutes early." His brow lift up and looked at you with his crossed arms. "It's non of your business Dazai-San." You went to your seat and prepared the document. You worked as an assistant here in the agency.

"Mmm....I wonder. Maybe it's....because of..Tanizaki-kun?" You suddenly choke on the water you drank and almost spit it on the paper. You coughed from the choke. You angrily pull Dazai' s collar close to you and looked at him furiously with a burning flame. "Don't you dare to said it again." Then someone burst the door open wide which interrupted your conversation with Dazai.
