Chapter 10.5: "Intervention"

~Megumin's POV~

I woke up today by the ray of the sun in my face.
I sat up and stretched and looked around the room.

No one. I guess they all got up already.
I took the covers of me and I hopped of the bed and stood up.

I grabbed my staff and hat from the corner and put them on.

I started walking out the room and still didn't see the others.

I kept walking until I got out the stable and I took a stop and looked around.

Still no sign of them.
I began walking around the outside of the stable, walking circles around it until I heard a voice.

???:
"You gonna keep going like an idiot, or are you gonna stop?"

I was surprised and jumped a little from hearing the voice.

I began looking around looking for where it came from.

???:
"Look up Megs"

I jumped again from the voice and reacted on instinct to look up.

When I looked up I saw.... (Y/N)?
He was sitting on one of his spatial gliders..... Well I can't really see them, so I'm just guessing that's what he's doing.

He had he's legs crossed and was staring at me.

(Y/N):
"..... Soo..... You gonna say something, or are you just gonna keep staring at me"

Wait what....
.....
.....
......
Oh.... That's what he means, I didn't really notice that I has the one staring at him....

I probably look really awkward right now....

I made a soft giggle and scratched my nape (If their are people out their who don't know what this means, it means the back of the neck.)

Megumin:
"Sorry.... I kinda got lost right there, hehe...."

I definitely just sounded stupid.
He gave me a soft smile and waved he's hands around.

(Y/N):
"Nah, it's fine~"

He then jumped down from he's spatial gliders. I was kinda worried about him since he was pretty high in the air.

But before he landed, he unleashed a bit of gravitational energy to push him upwards a little to soften he's landing.

He stood infront of me, one of his hands was on he's waist and the other was just dangling there.
He still had he's smile on he's face.

(Y/N):
"Morning Megs~"

I kinda hesitated to answer.
'I didn't really think that would be the first thing he'd say'
And because of this I started to stutter.

Megumin:
"Ah.... Y-yes! G-g-good morning!...."

'.... I SOUNDED EMBARRASSING!'
After I answer he just chuckled at me.
He's even found it amusing, this is definitely an embarrassment!

(Y/N):
"Well, that was cute~"

OH SHUT UP YOU TEASE!

(Y/N):
"Anyway...."

He then leaned towards Cryo who was forming a wall with it's body.

(Y/N):
"If you wanna know, the other's already left. Lu was going out for a walk, I said I'd go with her but she wanted to be alone. Kazuma is just walking around too, they both could have walked together but they preferred alone. Aqua.... I don't really know, and me I'm just waiting for something interesting to happen"
