Safdar was at home, smirking. "Why you so happy?" asked his sister. "Well, remember how you said you want to marry that boy, I found the girl I want to marry." "Who is she?" "All I know is her name is Aaliyah. She goes to your college. Please find out more stuff for me." "I'll try."

Aaliyah was in college, yet found she couldn't concentrate. The day passed in a blur. She didn't know what was wrong with her. All day she had been avoiding Jameel. She was on her way to the library when she got pulled into a room.

"Jameel, what the hell do you think your doing?"

"I want to ask where you've been all day."

"I've been here, not that it's your business."

"Why haven't I seen you all day?"

"Jameel, I know it's hard for you to believe, but unlike all the other girls here, I don't care about you or that everyone wants you. I don't."

"You do. Your just not admitting it."

"Whatever."

Aaliyah wandered around the town helplessly. What was it about Jameel that got to her? Was he right, did she want him? She found herself at lovers point, and sat down on the tyre swing and wept. She didn't know what was wrong with her.

"Tell me you love me." Jameel said 

"I can't"

"Well then tell me you hate me."

"I can't say that either."

"There's been something between us since day one. I know you feel it to. Why are you rejecting me Aaliyah?"

"I don't know why. Please leave me alone."

"Fine. From now on, you'll never have to worry about me troubling you."

Aaliyah wept as Jameel left. Had she just made the biggest mistake of her life?
