Part twelve

Aaliyah spent weeks rehearsing, and getting a makeover so she could rebrand herself. When everything was finally done, Aaliyah reintroduced herself to Safdar. Safdar gasped and told her she was looking beautiful. Chammi didn't say anything, just left the room. "Does your sister not like me?" "What makes you say that?" "She can't stand to be in the same room as me, never even says more to me than the bare minimum, I get cold vibes from her. What's her problem? I've been nothing but nice to her, since we met." "She's fine. She just gets awkward around strangers."

Safdar walked into chammis room. "Fix your attitude with Aaliyah." "Why? I hate her. She took Jameel from me." "Yes, but she doesn't remember that. Just forget that bit, and try to pretend she's a different person with the same name. It's who she thinks she is." Safdar walked out of the room and told Aaliyah he was taking her shopping.

"Buy whatever you want, and as much as you want. My treat to you for trusting me and coming here, and for working so hard." Aaliyah felt like a little kid in a sweet shop. She had only seen shops like these on television. There was so much variety. She was browsing some clothes, when a figure outside caught her eye. She couldn't explain it, but her heart starting beating fast, and she got breathless. Aaliyah ran outside, to follow the guy. Safdar suddenly realised Aaliyah was gone, and ran to follow her. Aaliyah ran to keep up with him. Safdar suddenly caught Aaliyah and tried to stop her. But Aaliyah managed to tap the guy on the shoulder.

Jameel turned around and stared at Aaliyah. Aaliyahs stared at him, the feeling of knowing him was overwhelming. Safdar noticed them two, and realised he needed to keep them seperate, so he apologised to Jameel and dragged Aaliyah away. Aaliyah took one last look at Jameel, as she was being led away. Jameel just looked at her and walked away. Strange girl he thought. When Safdar got home, he went straight to chammis room. "He's back". Chammi just looked at him confused. So Safdar quickly explained everything. "Fate and destiny are favouring us. They don't remember anything or each other, so we have a chance to set things right. This time, we'll get what was stolen from us."
