"Why? You don't like the food?" tinanong ko ang anak ko. He is just playing the meat that I sliced for him.

"I don't want to eat. I miss daddy" he let his head down.

"Daddy will visit you soon, diba? He told you that after we left their house"

Bakit kaya hindi siya bumibisita? Wala naman akong sinabing hindi niya pwedeng puntahan ang anak namin.

It's been a week and a half now since the day I told him about my miscarriage. It is the only way for him to let me go. For him to love Emily and not me.

Kahit ayokong sabihin 'yon dahil alam kong masasaktan lang kaming dalawa, I have to.

Pagkabasa ko ng sinabi niya, napakunot ako ng noo. Why is she coming here? Hindi ba may photoshoot siya para sa cook book niya?

"Anton please be a good boy and eat your food, okay?" I caressed his smooth cheeks.

Tumango lang siya sa akin. I can feel that he is upset about his dad not visiting him.

"Give mommy a few minutes. I'll be back" nagpaalam ako sa kanya bago buksan ang pinto.

I open it and that exact moment I saw Emily pressing the button. Binawi niya agad ang kamay niya at hinila ako palapit sa kanya.

"You go. You need to go before something bad happens to him" hingal niyang sabi.

I am really confuse with her actions right now "Ha? Ano bang sinasabi mo Emily. I'm sorry but I don't get it"

"It's Ashton. I went to their house para bisitahin siya but I end up leaving after I came. Hindi daw siya tumatanggap ng bisita even though they informed him that it was me"

"What do you want me to do now?"

Napahigpit siya ng hawak sa kamay ko.

"He locked his room for 3 days. Imagine him not eating any food for 3 days! He may fall sick just doing that. I know that you are the only person that can save him. So please go" napalunok siya pagkatapos niyang magsalita.

"H-how? Why me?"

Nabibigla ako sa mga sinasabi niya. Alam kaya niya? About me and Ashton.

"I know. I know about the two of you" she sighed. "But because of my selfishness, we ended up here"

I really feel bad for her. I know this is hurting her. Bago pa ako makapagsalita, inunahan niya ulit ako.

"I can't explain today. Time is running Madi. Either you save him or you lose him. Babantayan ko muna si Anton. So go"

"Okay- okay thanks. I should go" taranta kong sabi.

Naglakad na ako paalis sa kanya nang tawagin ako ulit ni Emily.

Inalis niya ang suot niyang cardigan at binigay sa akin. "It's raining outside. I don't want you to catch a cold" and then she gave me her keys.

Nasa lobby na ako ng mahalatang pinagtitinginan ako ng iba. I look at myself at bigla akong nakaramdam ng kaunting hiya.

I can't waste time. Dali-dali kong hinanap ang kotse ni Emily. It was just park right infront of our hotel.
