As soon as Genny had made it to Nottingham with Archer she saw guards lifting away a cart pulled by horses. She hopped off, obviously confused but ready to find out what was in that cart.

"Hey! What on Earth is going on?" She raised an eyebrow at the cart driver. "See for yourself, m'lady." He responded, nodding towards what looked like a body covered in a white tarp.

She gulped and grasped the thick sheet in her small hand, gently pulling it back and letting out a choked cry at who was in that cart. Her father. Dead.

She backed away from the cart and ran towards the gates, tears rolling down her cheeks but someone grabbed her arm. Archer.

"Woah.. Where are y- Hey, whats wrong?" He asked and examined her distressed face. "M-My father.. H-He's gone." She sobbed but was met by the comforting embrace of her lovers brother.

Just as that scene played out, Robin and Guy, both on the same horse with Linda behind them, on her own horse, rode into Nottingham. Robins eyes flickered down to his brother holding Genevieve and he felt his face heat up with anger and jealousy.

He looked around and caught a glimpse of what was going on behind them, the sheets covering a body were pulled away to reveal the Sheriff, dead. Robin was elated, yet he felt a pang of sorrow, not for the loss of the sheriff, but for the loss that Genny had to go through.

He hopped off of his horse, giving one last look at Guy, who seemed to look extremely grim at the moment, but why would he burden the sheriffs death?

As Archer pulled away, Genevieve's eyes rested on Robin, tears welling up, about to spill like a waterfall and he enveloped her in his arms, soon feeling the wetness of her tears on his shirt.

"He's gone." She said in barely a whisper as he held her. He rested a cheek against her hair and spoke softly. "I know.. You'll be okay." He said.

They both pulled away, Genny looked to Genevieve who shared a grim look but when they met eyes, so many emotions rushed through. Fury, anger, betrayal and disgust. Genny ignored it for now and looked at Guy, who stared back at her with a guilty espression.

She approached him.

"Do you feel better now that you've taken it out on me? Do you think I'm blind, Guy? I see you love Linda but don't you remember? He was her father too. You didn't just take your anger out on me, you took it out on her too. You should have just killed me instead if you so wished to do it." She said with furious tears in her eyes as she spun on her heel and walked into the castle, heading for what used to be her old quarters.

There, she threw herself onto the soft bed and cried. How could everything have gone straight down into hell because of her? She knew now what to do. She would do what was best for the rest of the people. Simply disappear. She opened the windows of her quarters, which wasn't above the ground so she was fine if she jumped, and she did, making a run for the woods.

Meanwhile, Robin was on the search inside the castle for her. Basically heading in all the wrong directions because she was deep in the heart of Sherwood Forest by now. As he reached her room, he became angered. Frstrated that he couldn't find her. He then noticed something.

The window was open and a single thread was swaying in the wind, attached to a nail, which had snagged the thread in the first place. "Now there's something." He murmured to himself and followed the trail of flattened grass all the way to Sherwood. Seeing that he was an excellent tracker, these things were easy for him.

He totally disregarded everyone else he had to worry about as he tracked her down, finding her footprints in the soft morning soil of the woods. He followed them straight to her. She was sitting on a fallen tree, her head in her hands and her hair falling over her face. Her light blonde hair was darker now with the dirt that had collected in it.

He leaned against a tree and just observed her for a while. Not particularily waiting on anything to happen, just watching.

"Genevieve." He said quietly and she jumped, looking in his direction with wide eyes and he chuckled.

"Oh don't be so surprised. You knew I would find you." He said with a smile, which earned him a small smile and a roll of the eyes from her.

"I know. I just didn't figure it would be this soon, you know?" She said as he sat next to her on the tree.

"Well, I can't just leave you missing. Someone has to find you first." He said.

She nodded and looked down but he lifted her chin up and pressed a soft kiss to her lips, when he pulled away, it left a warm tingling sensation on her lips

"Now how about we head back to see what Guy and your sister are up to now, eh?" Robin asked, holding a hand out for her to take.

She gladly followed him.
