"I'M STUCK IN AN ELEVATOR WITH STEVE Harrington," Angela muttered as she paced back and forth, "When I fantasized about this moment, I wasn't so stressed out!"
"Wait you've fantasized about being in an elevator with me?" Steve asked, "I'm intrigued, how did this fantasy go, was it like a date or was it just-"
"There are children here!" Robin interrupted, discomfort on her face, "And I don't want to hear about it."
Steve leans close to Angela, "You could tell me about it over dinner."
"Steve," Dustin says, shaking his head.
"Just so you nerds are aware, I'm supposed to be at Uncle Jack's party tomorrow. If I'm not there and my mom finds out you five are responsible, she's going to hunt you down one by one and slit your throat."
"Mom won't find you or me or Steve or Danielle because we are trapped in a Russian elevator!" Angela screamed, "Lucas is going to be an only child. He gets to live my dream!"
"I hadn't even thought about Max," Danielle said softly as she pinched her nose. If there was actually something going on with Billy, Max would have to deal with it by herself and she couldn't allow that, "We have to get out of here."
"No shit," Dustin said as he glanced around. He looked up and Danielle followed his gaze, "What if we climbed out?"
They moved the boxes and climbed on top of them so that they could open the elevator door. Dustin and Steve climbed up and observed it. Angela began pacing again and Danielle looked over at Robin.
Robin glanced her way before looking away, a blush on her cheeks.
"You have really nice freckles," Danielle said getting her attention, "I mean that I like your freckles. They're a great attribute to have."
Robin smiled at her, "Thanks. I like your hair, very bright."
Danielle laughs and Robin joins in. They look over to find Erica and Angela staring at them. Erica shakes her head and Angela goes back to her pacing. Dustin and Steve climb down Angela stops pacing and looks at them hopefully, but Steve just shakes his head.
"Great," Erica mutters, "I want free ice cream in the afterlife too, cause that's where we'll all be soon."
"We're not going to die," Robin says, "Look the mall opens in the morning, let's just get some sleep."
"Sleep?" Angela asks, "How do you sleep in a Russian elevator?"
"Easy," Erica says, throwing her backpack on the ground and using it as a pillow. Angela stares at her younger sister with a hint of disgust.
