Maya got to school and immediately faced Riley.
Riley has been her best friend since she can tell but today she was extra chirpy.
"Guess who has a date tonight?" Riley said and Maya smiled.
"I have no idea Riles. Probably some lucky girl," Maya said and both laughed.
"So how are you getting ready?" Maya asked.
"Same always. Shower, hair, make-up, outfit the works. What are you doing?" Riley asked.
"I want to pop in at your uncle's. I know how hard it is starting at a new place and it has been a month later. So I could do with something to devide my attention," Maya said.
"Say hi to him please. I have a date so of course I can't go with."
"I will but let's get to class," Maya said.
