Broken friendships

Chapter 4

A few months went by nothin unusually until...

It was time to go back to school, i knew i would see Mat but i was slowly working up the courage to tell him how i felt...it wasnt going to be easy for me.

When i got to school things went on as usual, we called out to each other as we walked past he had no idea how i felt...

A few weeks went by and my to closest friends Anna and Maddie decided to ask Mat out for me...at first he thought they were joking until i told him that they were being serious...

Mat then started ignoring me and avoiding me at school...i eventually got tired of not knowing why he was doing this so i decided to talk to him about it...

One day at school i got one of my besfriends Anna to go with me and we went round to where Mat sat...the same place he sat for the past year...i kindly asked to speak to him in private...all of his friends walked away...

As i spoke the words i never thought i would say i stuttered and he couldnt understand me...i took a deep breath and said Mat i am tired of not knowing...i want to hear this for myself...Mat will you go out with me??
