Date Night

"Dipper the twins are going to be fine with Mabel, she said she's going to teach them scrapbooking and maybe teach Jess how to make her own jumper." You said sliding in a diamond pine tree shaped earring into your ear and standing up from the vanity table.
"Plus Stan said he would watch them as well if he wants us to but I want to give Mabel this time with them." Dipper sighed knowing you were right and did up his tie looking at you in the mirror, you were stood behind him, your hands on his shoulders, you lent up and gave him a small kiss on the neck before going down the stairs and going to find some shoes.

"Mum you look beautiful!" Jasper said running towards you and wrapping his arms around you, you bent down dragging both him and Jessica into a hug and smiling up at Mabel as she snapped a photo of the sweet family moment.
"This can be in the book." Jessica yelled running over and grabbed a scrap book from the floor and showing you it, the first few pages were all baby photos you had sent back to Stan when you first got pregnant, the scans, the first two when you thought there was just one baby and the rest all the twins. Then there were photos of Stan and Ford holding the twins as babies and you and Dipper coming into your new home back in Florida, you didn't even miss it any more. The people were boring, there wasn't any adventure, it was just a boring suburban home.
"You look amazing." Stan said coming into the living room, you brushed off the light blue silk dress and did a small twirl as he held your hand.
"This old thing." You joked kissing him on the cheek and hugging him.
"Thanks Dad." You whispered closing your eyes as he wrapped his arms around you and chuckled.
"You're welcome kiddo." You had gotten used to calling him Dad now, after all that's what he was to you.

"Go! Have fun! They're fine, I'm fine. Now go get your date on!" Mabel yelled from the door frame watched as you climbed into Robbie's van, he was letting you borrow it so you didn't have to go around on the golf cart.
"We should look into a car." You whispered turning on the radio and looking at Dipper, he took a hold of your hand while he drove and kept your hand in his whenever he needed to change gears. You smiled leaning across and kissing him again.
"Love you." You whispered pulling back and looking out of the window.
"Love you too."

Mabel looked out of the window to see it was getting late again and the twins were still hyped up on sweets and fizzy drinks.
"I think it was a bad idea to let you have those so late." She giggled looking as Jessica was running around the house and Jasper was flipping through his own journal, so far it only had one entry but he said he was determined to fill it just like his dad's and Ford's.
"You will, I have a feeling you'll have it filled by the end of the year, I mean your mum and dad filled theirs in less than that here." They all began laughing when a loud crash came from the back yard and then the power cut out.
"What's that?" Jessica asked stopping still as if she was a deer caught in headlights, Ford was out with friends and Stan was asleep. Mabel stood up asking Jasper to stand with his sister.
"Stay here....I'll go check it out." She whispered grabbing a baseball bat from the living room door way and making her way to the back entrance of the shack
"If anyone is out there...show yourself! I'm armed!" She yelled looking around, the generator doors were wide open but no one was around.
"Don't worry guys. I'm sure it was just...the...wind..." She slowed down hearing growling from behind her as well as loud rough breathing.
"Shit." She whispered, she didn't need to see it to know what it was. She slowly made her way back into the house slamming the door and pushing a desk in front of it.
"Jasper take your sister upstairs...then grab me a phone and go hide with her." She was panting leaning against the doorway.
"What is it?!" Jessica cried looking out of the side window to see the huge black dog stalking the shack.
"Werewolf." Jasper smiled looking at Mabel and running to go get another journal .
"Dad wrote about them before, he found their weakness and I think we can do this without them Auntie Mabel." Mabel stared at him and then screamed as the dog began to scratch at the door.
"Isn't it wolfs bane or something?" She questioned looking over at Jasper who opened the journal and showed her.
"Cats and water? That's it!" She laughed standing up and brushing off her hands.
"This is going to be a piece of cake." Just as she finished her sentence the door burst open and the dog was standing there foaming at the mouth and growling at her.

You held hands with Dipper on the table and stared into each others eyes.
"I can't remember the last time we had a night this peaceful." He said tracing small patterns onto your hands and looking at you.
"Neither can I." You whispered looking at his hands, he was drawing small infinity symbols over and over again.
"You know I've been thinking." He said pulling his hand away and taking a drink of wine.
"We should renew our vows." You sipped on your wine and gestured for him to continue.
"Well we could make it a small little thing with the twins and the family, just here at home in Gravity falls." You smiled brightly leaning across and kissing him.
"I love that idea, I'm sure Mabel will enjoy dress shopping with me as well." You chuckled looking around the restaurant.
"Where is everyone?" You quizzed only seeing three couples and the waitresses working.

"JASPER GET DOWN!" Mabel screamed, Jasper ducked under the table as the wolf pounced at him.
"Auntie Mabel we have to do something," Jessica cried behind her. Mabel sighed bending down.
"Run outside, run until you get to Robbie, Robbie knows where all the cats are in the woods. Don't come back until you have one...Promise me." Jessica nodded and Mabel stood up grabbing the bat from before.
"Aye! Wolfboy!" She yelled banging it on the pipes.
"If you want him, you've got to get through me." She kept banging on the pipes and it was clearly irritating the wolf as he began to slowly stalk her, she looked over it's shoulder to see Jasper and she nodded towards the sink. He nodded slowly walking over to it in complete silence.

Dipper held your hand in his as you pulled up outside the shack after your date night,
"This really has been..the perfect night." You whispered holding your belly and laughing.
"I'm so full I don't think I could ever eat anything ever again." Dipper laughed pulling you into a side hug and kissing the top of your head.
"It's nice to just get out without all the drama sometimes." He whispered turning off the engine and kissing your lips, you kissed him back crawling over the gear stick to sit in his lap.
"I love you." You whispered in-between kisses, he chuckled wrapping his arms around your body and pulling you closer to him.

"Auntie Mabel, here!" Jessica yelled coming into the house with two cats, one in her arms and the other in Robbies.
"I thought it was date night, meaning no drama." He said with a laugh looking as Mabel and Jasper kept the tap pointed at the wolf with water hitting it, the wolf was down on the ground and as soon as one of the cats started meowing it was up and running out of the back door, leaving scratches and ripped curtains behind, Jasper fell down onto the floor he was soaking wet, Mabel's jumper was ripped and Jessica was just holding one of the black cats and whispering to it.
"I'll leave you guys to it." Robbie laughed going out the back door.

You walked through the front door hand in hand smiling at one another until you saw the mess, your hands dropped and you looked at Jasper who was smiling innocently at you.
"Mum...I can explain." You tapped your foot looking at the cats that were currently asleep in Jessica's arms.
"There was a wolf." Mabel said standing up and looking at the back door.
"That's why the back door is missing, the kitchen is practically flooded and we have cats." You and Dipper both stayed silent, you bent down stroking one of the cats and kissing Jessica on the head.
"Why didn't you call us?" Dipper asked shutting off the water and looking at Jasper.
"Date night...You needed it." Mabel said picking up the backdoor and standing it against the wall.
"Jasper wanted something for his journal." Jessica said laughing as one of the cats licked her face.
"Can we keep them mummy?!" Jessica asked as you tucked her into bed, they were both in clean warm clothes and the cats were laid on each of the twins bed.
"I mean..." You looked up at Dipper with a smile on your face and pleading eyes.
"Fine...but we need good names." He said bending down and tucking Jasper into his head.
"Luna and Artemis." Jasper said rolling onto his side as the cat crawled under his covers and laid next to him.

You stood in your room looking at yourself in the mirror, you were still in the dress and Dipper was still in his suit, except he had his hat back on and his tie was undone.
"Even with your hair looking like a birds nest you're the most beautiful person in the world." He said wrapping his arms around you from behind and leaving kisses up and down your neck, you giggled and rolled your head back to let him continue and have more access to your neck.
"You know..." He trailed off kissing your neck still and unzipping the dress.
"Robbie is letting me have the van for the rest of the night." You turned to face him, your dress slipping off and down onto the ground leaving you in your underwear.
"Are you suggesting what I think you're suggesting?" You giggled kissing his neck this time and undoing his shirt.
"I am." He growled, picking you up and carrying you down into the van.
"You need some adventure for one night."
