jeongguk's pov

a smile was finally plastered on my face after weeks of grimacing. i had learnt by now that one human could make such an impact on mental health: it's frightening at this point.

classes felt as if they passed by in seconds, not a single memory of them engraved in my mind.

did i care? absolutely not.

from period to period, i searched for taehyung in the crowds of teenagers.

though my mission was never successful, my hopes were never dragged down.

the end of the day came as quickly as my thoughts, running around my messy mind.

a skip slipped into my step, and my hands clasped the straps of my bag.

my mind was set to the task of running into the biscuit shop, straight into tae's arms like i was used to.

a hand gripped my wrist and spun me around, i smiled. "taehyun- stop we're in public!"

"your precious taehyung won't be able to hear you from where we're going."
