Sam was in the waiting room. They had taken Donna for some tests and even if he hated he couldn't be there so he took the chance. He dialed Tanya's number and called her. -Hey Tan, how is everything going?-
-Sam? Where are you? What is going on?- asked Tanya
-It's a very long story we'll explain later. But first I need you to bring the baby to the hospital on the mainland-
-What?! Are you okay?!- Asked Rosie getting in the conversation
-I am, I promise. Please, It's important-
-Yeah, we'll bring him there as soon as possible, but...- Sam interrupted what Tanya was saying when he saw the doctor appear.
-Girls, I have to go. I'll wait for you. Thanks again, Bye- He then looked at the doctor -Where is my wife? How is she?-
-We got the results. As you can imagine she's dehydrated and malnourished and we want to keep her in obserbation for a few days but she insisted we'd go call you-
-Bring me to my wife, NOW-
-Sam- She cried as she saw her husband. -We have to go get Jake. He needs to be checked out-
-I already called Rosie and Tanya. They're bringing him up-
-So... they know- she whispered
-I haven't told them anything. Do you want to tell them as they arrive?- he asked gently
-I... I don't think I'm ready... They can't see me like this...They think I'm dead Sam!-
-I know honey... but believe me, seeing you will make them the happiest people on this earth- he smiled as he stroked her hair
-I know... just not yet- she whispered
Their chat got interrupted by Sam's phone -It's them...It's okay if I leave you a few minutes....-
-Go take our boy- she said smiling at him as he kissed her head and left the room.
-Okay, Donna- She said to herself as she took a deep breath -You can do it-
Sam immediately ran to the two women.
-Sam, are you okay?!- asked Rosie
-Never been better- he said -I promise I'll tell you everything as soon as I arrive home.... Please don't tell anything to Sophie about this-
-Uh, it's okay- answered Rosie as Tanya looked at him trying to understand what was going on.
-Call us if you need anything- said Tanya as she kissed his cheek and wrapped her arm around Rosie's shoulder -Let's go lone wolf-
-Looks like someone missed you- said Sam as he got in Donna's room carrying Jake in his arms.
-Hi my love- she smiled as the baby smiled back at her -Mommy sure missed you too!- She then looked at Sam -How long has it been since he has eaten?-
-Tanya and Rosie said he has just eaten- he said as he kissed the baby's head and then Donna's lips.
Sam carefully sat on the edge of the bed and Donna put her head in Sam's shoulder, making him smile.
-I missed you, Sam- said Donna as she gave him a tearful smile -So much-
-I did too Mrs Carmichael- he said with tears in his eyes -You can't even imagine how-
